HIV/AIDSキャリア支援チャリティイベント「HOPE AND LIVE」

2013年より、河村隆一、SUGIZO、AUTO-MODなどボーダーレスかつ豪華な出演者勢により毎年開催となる「HIV/AIDSキャリア支援」を目的としたチャリティライブ「HOPE AND LIVE」が、今年もワールド・エイズ・ウイークの日曜日12月2日に渋谷clubasia・VUENOSの二会場同時開催の形で開催される。

この活動「HOPE AND LIVE」は、2013年に自らがHIVキャリアであることを告白したドラマー「HAL(SPEED-iD)」の呼びかけに端を発し、彼の告白を受け止め支援すべく集結したミュージシャン仲間たちの力により実現したもので、ライヴイベントのほか、医療関係者、専門家を招いてのパネルディカッションイベントなど、年間を通じて様々な形式で活動を続けている。そしてそれらの活動による収益はHIV/AIDSキャリアの支援を目的として毎年「国立研究開発法人　国立国際医療研究センター」に寄付されている。

今年の開催は90年代V系の伝説的アーティスト集結するclubasia[RED STAG]と、ゴス・パンク・エクストリームに焦点を当てたVUENOS[BLACK STAGE]の２会場同時開催となる。
RED STAGEは、「石月努」のアコースティック編成による出演の他、KENZI（かまいたち）率いる「THE DEAD P☆P STARS」、毎年このイベントに参加し、自らも闘病しながら音楽活動を続けるDAISUKE（ex-MEDIA YOUTH）率いる「THE SOUND BEE HD」、第一回の開催時より久しぶりの出演となる「tezya」ソロによる妖艶なアコースティック、主催者でもあるHALが在籍するSPEED-iD、そして唯一無比のゴシックアイドルとして活動する「Aphrodite」らが共演となる。

同時開催となるVUENOSでは、HAL、EURO（SPEED-iD）がかつて活動し1992年に解散となった「The Otherside」一夜の再結成GIGの他、日本のポジティブパンクシーンにおける超重要バンド「マダム・エドワルダ」、AUTO-MOD、JASTY-NASTY、ZI:KILL、Loverbのメンバーによる新バンド「krishna blue」、80年代日本のパンクロック伝説のバンド「コンチネンタル・キッズ」、HALが率いるパンクバンド「フルダヌキ」、SPEED-iDのメンバーとしても活躍するlekaがヴォーカルを務める「functioncode」、そして黒服系ホラーパンクアイドルのコンセプトで活躍する爆音アイドルユニット「XTEEN」らが出演となる。

国内のみならず、世界規模で様々な形でのHIV/AIDSに関する啓蒙活動が行われる世界エイズ週間の日曜日。音楽、フェスによる本気度の高いこの活動に今年も注目したい。
