CUBΣLIC、「黒服限定LIVE」に向けた最新ビジュアル姿を公開!!!!

　1stEP「Chocolate Box」を発売したばかり、"フューチャーベースアイドルユニット"を名乗るCUBΣLIC。"フューチャーベース"とは、 アタックの強い跳ねたエレクトロニックダンスミュージックのこと。ポップな要素が強いことも特徴。CUBΣLICの場合、そこへキラキラとした要素やキュートなポップ感を打ち出しているように、"カワイイフューチャーベース"とも言われている。
そんなことを書きつつ、1stEP「Chocolate Box」へは様々なEDM STYLEの楽曲を詰め込んでいるように、すでに枠にとらわれない音楽性を示している。でも、それでいい。なぜなら彼女たちは、「こうであるべき」という既成概念を笑顔でぶち壊してこそ支持を得てゆくアイドルなんだもの。
　
あえて断言したい。「アイドルとは何でもあり」だと。ただし、「させられている」で終わってしまうと、その存在は輝きを燻らせてしまう。たとえ「させられてる」でも、いい。「やっちゃいました」感を出して、自分たちの色に染め上げ、それを笑顔で楽しんでいれば、人は、その輝きに惹かれてゆく。要は、「自分たちの懐に取り込んで個性に変えられた人たち」こそ、アイドルシーンで目立つ存在になっていける。その片鱗を1stEP「Chocolate Box」を通して示してきたCUBΣLICが、またまたやってくれた。

このたび、CUBΣLICの最新ビジュアル姿が公開になった。それが、「黒いロリータウエディング」姿だ。彼女たちは、ウエディングドレスを漆黒のロリータスタイルにしてしまうという掟破りの所業を見せてくれた。その姿が「カワイイお洒落姿」に見えるのは、CUBΣLICの4人が、その姿で無邪気に遊んでいるからだ。
　真面目な話も加えるなら、今回の衣装をデザインは、ウエディングドレスとロリータファッションを融合させたロリータウエディングの第一人者であるデザイナーのHiroko Tokumineが全面監修。彼女がデザイン監修する衣装制作ブランド「Cendrillon Project」が携わったことで、本物感ではなく、本物に仕上げているところも大きな強みになっている。CUBΣLICメンバーいわく「攻撃姿勢を表現したゴージャスで品のある仕上がり」になったそうだ。

彼女たちが漆黒のドレス姿に身を包んだのも、すべては12月23日にTSUTAYA O-WESTで3rd ONEMAN LIVE『Eyes Wide Shut』を「黒服限定LIVE」として行なうため。
