前田愛郎(UNDER FALL JUSTICE)、オンライン／会場限定でソロシングル『遠き思い出』を5月31日に発売

春にオンライン限定シングル『壊れたオモチャ』をリリース。ライブ活動を行っているUNDER FALL JUSTICE。精力的な活動の合間を縫い、ヴォーカリストの前田愛郎が新たな音源を作りあげた。それが、5月31日よりライブ会場とオンライン限定でリリースするソロシングルの『遠き思い出』だ。

UNDER FALL JUSTICEでも、前田愛郎としても、根底にあるのは、答えが見えないからこそもがき葛藤する想い。それをUNDER FALL JUSTICEでは、狂気に満ちた想いで表現。前田愛郎としては、痛みや嘆きという心を闇へ落とす感情を通して伝えてきた。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
だが、今回の『遠き思い出』では、純粋に幸せを想い願う気持ちを歌に乗せてきた。前田愛郎の言葉を借りるなら、『遠き思い出』の根底にある想いは「コロナ禍で色々なバンドの解散やファンとのサヨナラをたくさん見てきた」愛郎自身が、今、感じている純粋な想い。

大切なものほど、戻らない思い出になってしまう悲しい現実に涙し、愛しき人たちへ想いを馳せる。この歌は、前田愛郎の涙であり、抑えられない想いを嗚咽するように言葉にした心の声だ。2曲目へ収録した『離々』も含め、受け入れがたい現実を必死に受け止めようとするが、それでも無き存在を求めてしまう、どうしようもない心の苛立ちと悲しみを歌にしている。
この2曲は、大切な人を失った人たちの心にも、同じように痛く胸を掻きむしる歌として響くだろう。それが親友や仲間との旅立つことでの別れでも、失恋による離れたくないのに離れなければいけない悲しみにも、この2曲に綴った想いは重なって見えてくる。

今にも心壊れそうな声色で歌う前田愛郎の歌は、あまりにも無垢で、そして悲しすぎる。だけど人は、悲しみに浸ることで前を向くことも出来る。弱い心に寄り添うのがヴィジュアル系の音楽なら、この2曲は、それを示した歌。ときには、無理に笑顔を繕うことも必要だろう。でも、吐き出したい声や枯れるまで流したい涙を素直に解き放ちたいとき、そのきっかけとしてこの歌に触れてほしい。前田愛郎の歌声や言葉が琴線に触れた瞬間、きっとあなたも自分の堪えてきた強さを壊し、涙で気持ちを浄化していけると思う。
