go!go!vanillas、11月にアルバム『Magic Number』でメジャー進出！

go!go!vanillasが20日に行なったワンマンライブにて、11月5日にリリースするアルバム『Magic Number』でメジャー進出することを発表した。

この日のライブは、6日にタワーレコード限定シングルとしてリリースされ、同店チャートTOP10入りを果たした「エマ」のリリースと、“8月20日＝バニラの日"を記念して、彼らのホームといえるライブハウス、新宿レッドクロスで行われたもの。

go!go!vanillasは今春に全国で開催されたスペースシャワー列伝JAPAN TOURにKANA-BOON、キュウソネコカミ、SHISHAMOとともに参加、その後の大型ロックフェスにもつぎつぎと抜擢され、“新世代ロックンロール最重要バンド"として急速に注目を集めていた。

そしてこのたび、話題のバンド陣を数多く擁するビクターエンタテインメントのレーベル・Getting Betterからメジャー1stアルバムのリリースが決定。この日のステージ上でメンバーからファンへ、直接報告する形となった。

メジャー第1弾リリースとなるアルバム『Magic Number』は全11曲収録予定で、日本語ロックンロールの新たなる扉を開く、まさに“マジック・ナンバー"がずらり揃っているとのこと。また初回限定DVDつき商品も同日リリースされるが、収録される映像の内容は後日発表される。

アルバムのリリース発表と同時に、10月に東名阪で行われるレーベル主催のライブイベント『MUSIC TAGS』への参戦も発表され、レーベルの先輩にあたるKEYTALK、キュウソネコカミとの豪華3マン公演も実現。同ライブのチケット先行予約第4弾もバンドのオフィシャルHPでスタートしたので、チェックしてほしい。
