Base Ball Bear、新シリーズライブ＆ツアーを来年開催

Base Ball Bearが来年2月4日（水）より新シリーズライブ「シリーズ〝LIVE IN LIVE″」＆ Tour「二十九歳＋一」を開催することを発表した。

今回発表されたふたつのライブは、11月29日（土）にZepp DiverCity Tokyoで行われた、ツアー「二十九歳」追加公演のアンコール時に、ボーカル小出祐介の口から発表されたもの。新シリーズライブ「シリーズ〝LIVE IN LIVE″」は、シリーズライブとして「日比谷ノンフィクション」などを行ってきた彼らによるライブなので、どのようなコンセプトライブになるか楽しみだ。さらに、ツアー「二十九歳」を終えたばかりの彼らによる新しいツアー「二十九歳＋一」は、2015年3月7日（土）より開催される。

今回発表されたライブも含め、2015年のBase Ball Bearの動向に注目しよう。

「2014年11月29日、アルバムツアーである「Tour 二十九歳」を無事に終えることができました。このツアーのMCで度々触れていたのですが、Base Ball Bearは、インディーズ時代から数えると150曲ほどの持ち曲があるバンドです。毎回セットリストを決める度に、あれもやりたいこれもやりたいとなりますし、また、あれが聴きたいこれが聴きたいという声もいただきます。 ですが、どう考えてもそれらすべてを2時間のライブに詰め込むことは不可能です。実際、持ち曲の8分の1くらいしか演奏出来ないわけです。新曲はこれからもどんどん作っていくでしょうから、自ずと演奏したくても出来ない曲もどんどん増えていきます。そこで。「シリーズ〝LIVE IN LIVE（ライブ イン ライブ）″」と題しまして、これまでの楽曲を万遍なく演奏し、そして、それを聴いていただくためのライブシリーズを定期的にやっていこうと思います。例えば、「リクエストのみで構成されるライブ」「ラブソングのみで構成されるライブ」「B面の楽曲のみで構成されるライブ」「過去のアルバムの再現ライブ、もしくは、過去のアルバムツアーを現在の考え方で構成してみるライブ」…などのように、毎回コンセプトを決めて構成を組んでいこうと考えています。タイトルの意味は「LIVEのなかで生きる」みたいな感じでしょうか。英語わかんないので文法とか合ってるかわかんないけど。笑 そんなニュアンスで。僕らがこういう企画を立ち上げようと思ったのは、「Tour 二十九歳」を通して、バンドがやっとバンドらしくなったと思えたからです。はっきり言って、僕らは現在、とても良い状態です。
今であれば、10代の時に作った曲もさらにフレッシュに演奏できるかもしれない。20代の曲からさらに奥行きを引き出すことができるかもしれない。そんな気がしています。僕らにとっても、みなさんにとっても、何か新しい発見になればいいですね。お待ちしております。 あと、2015年春には「Tour 二十九歳＋一（プラス ワン）」と題したツアーを行います。「二十九歳」に年齢だけではなく、次のバンドのモードをプラスしたいと思っております。引き続きどうぞよろしくお願い致します」
