go!go!vanillas、今年のバニラの日（8月20日）はタワレコ渋谷店にて“バニラ祭り

go!go!vanillasが、8月20日“バニラの日"に、TOWER RECORDS渋谷店にて「バニラ祭り」というメンバーが1日店員となって「特製バニラかき氷」の販売や「号外うちわ」の配布など、真夏の1日を涼しく盛り上げる企画イベントを実施すると発表した。

go!go!vanillasは8月20日を「バニラの日」と称し、バンドにとって特別な日と位置づけている。昨年のこの日はワンマンライブにてメジャー進出を発表し、まさにメモリアルな1日となったが、今年の「バニラの日」はタワーレコード渋谷店で「バニラ祭り」と称するスペシャルDAYを開催する。

当日はメンバーがタワーレコードの1日店員となり、1Fエントランスにて「特製バニラかき氷」を販売することが決定。かき氷はメンバー自らが味付けやトッピングを考案したもので、9月16日に発売される2ndシングル「カウンターアクション」にちなんだメニューを販売予定とのこと。数量限定販売となっており、売切れ必至の為、ファンは早めに足を運んで欲しい。さらに、この日に発表となるバンドの重大情報が記載された「号外うちわ」もメンバーによって配布される。連日の猛暑をクールダウンするサマーアイテムとそのアツい情報にぜひ注目してほしい。

また、この日、TOWER RECORDS渋谷店で「カウンターアクション」を予約すると、「バニラの日」限定特典としてサイン入り最新ポスターがプレゼントされる。「バニラの日の記念」となる貴重なサインなので、ファンは確実に手に入れて欲しい。

そして、「カウンターアクション」のチェーン別特典も発表された。特典は各チェーン店色違いの「オリジナル蛍光ロゴステッカー」で、スマホにも貼れるハンディサイズとのこと。こちらもファン必携の1枚だ。

さらに、5,555枚完全限定盤に付属されるDVDの収録楽曲も発表された。このDVDには、新ギタリスト柳沢進太郎加入後の初ステージとなった7月15日下北沢SHELTERにおける緊急ワンマン“HIGH!HIGH!"のライブ映像が収録されるが、最新シングル曲「バイリンガール」や代表曲「マジック」など、全5曲収録とのこと。映像は、全国生配信時のカメラ映像にくわえ、DVD用に複数台設置されたカメラ素材も用いて特別編集された貴重な内容となるので、必見だ。

勢いを止めることなく進むバニラズ。今まで以上に、最高の音楽と話題を届けてくれるであろう彼らに、引き続き注目して欲しい。
