DOG inThePWO、BugLug、Blu-BiLLioNが大集結した『治外法権』が大盛況

DOG inTheパラレルワールドオーケストラ、BugLug、Blu-BiLLioNと、Resistar Records所属の3バンドが一堂に会する人気イベント『治外法権』。2011年のスタート以来、夏は全国をまわるツアー形式で行われるのが恒例となっているが、今年は8月に大阪・仙台・名古屋・福岡をサーキット。8月29日には東京・Zepp DiverCityでファイナル公演を行い、集まった“レジレコ”ファンを熱狂させた。

繊細なサウンドに楽器隊のパワーコーラスが轟く「GARDEN」で、迫力満点にイベントの火蓋を切ったのはBlu-BiLLioN。荒々しいエモーションをバンド感たっぷりに贈りながらも、彼ら特有のスタイリッシュかつ耳に心地よいナンバーの数々で場内を魅了する。中でもミケ（Vo.）のハイトーンボーカルとteru（Key.）のピアノがリリカルに溶け合う「東京シンデレラ」、煌めくミラーボールの下で妖しく跳ねるダンスロック「Miss Mrmaid」等、7月にリリースしたアルバム『GENESIS』からのナンバーは彼らの新天地を拓くもの。ラストは客席中でタオルが振られる「Ready?」で華やかに締めくくり、10月に始まる全国ワンマンツアーへの期待を高める。

続いて、一聖（Vo.）の咆哮で幕開けたBugLugのステージは、アグレッシヴなナンバーをたたみかけて場内を灼熱の嵐に。1曲目「猿」からフロアは大きくうねり、オーディエンスが前へと殺到する「KAIBUTSU」、ヘッドバンギングで荒ぶる「ENMA」等、観る者にひとときも休むことを許さない。そんな中にも「ライヴはホントに一瞬で終わってしまうんだよ。でも、その一瞬をキミたちの中の永遠にしたい」など、しっかりとメッセージを挟み込むのがBugLug流。暴れきった最後、透明感たっぷりの「Live to Love」で感動の内に締めくくる展開もニクい。10月からは47都道府県ツアーもスタート。この極まったバンド力が果たしてどこまで進化してゆくのか見物だ。

9月9日にシングル「メテオライト」のリリースを控えるDOG inTheパラレルワールドオーケストラは、その新衣装をステージで初お披露目。大歓声の沸く中、オーディエンスが手を繋いでスキップする「ドッグ・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー」を皮切りに、フロアがモッシュの渦になる「PARADOX」、一斉に扇子が上がる「祭izm」と、持ち前の“ワクワクさせる”ナンバーで場内に笑顔の花を咲かせる。仙台の交差点で準々（Gt）がさらし者になったという愉快なツアー思い出MCも挟みつつ、ラストの「Doggys Party!!」では曲中で「メテオライト」のイントロだけを披露する嬉しいサプライズも。11月23日に舞浜アンフィシアターで行われるワンマンも、きっと今日以上に心躍るものとなるに違いない。

また、今回のツアーでは3バンド16人の中で結成された3つのセッションバンドが、各公演1バンドずつオリジナル曲を引っさげて参加していたのも大きな見どころ。大阪と福岡では、DOG inTheパラレルワールドオーケストラの春（vo）率いる医療系バンド“ダッチワイフ”が、仙台と名古屋ではアイドル系の“ミケwith HMK2”が出演したが、ファイナルでは一聖を中心に据えた“Ajito”が満を持しての初登場！　全員スーツでキメたマフィア風のビジュアルに、シャウトとヘドバンまみれの激しすぎるサウンドと、正反対に明るいトーンのMCでオーディエンスを困惑（笑）させながら、強烈なインパクト叩きつけた。

そこから「やっぱり最後はみんなで一夏の思い出を作って帰りたい」（一聖）と全員を呼び込んでの大セッションでは、『治外法権』には欠かせない「Resistar Recordsのテーマ」をプレイ。おのおのがステージ上で記念撮影したりと和気藹々のムードの中、春が次回の『治外法権』を年明け1月3日にTOKYO DOME CITY HALLで開催することを発表する。

夏のツアーと同じく、新春の『治外法権』も今や毎年恒例のものとなっているが、渋谷O-EASTから赤坂BLITZ、渋谷公会堂と着実にスケールアップを果たしており、同時に伴って3バンドのパフォーマンスも年々充実度を増したものに。それぞれの個性を三者三様に研ぎ澄ませて、Resistar Recordsの進撃は続く。
