チャラン・ポ・ランタン、今度は“はらぺこシングル”をリリース

ワンマンツアー「チャラン穂 秋の大収穫祭」をスタートさせたチャラン・ポ・ランタンが、ツアー初日となる9月3日（木）の名古屋クラブクアトロ公演で、ニューシングルのリリースとあの漫才師とのコラボと、2つのニュースを発表した。

昨年7月のメジャーデビュー以来、3作目となるシングル「メビウスの行き止まり」は11月11日にリリースが決定。前2作は"たらふくシングル"と銘打ち、シングル規程ギリギリの4曲を収録した作品であったが、今作は2016年冬の発表に向けて制作中のアルバム『タイトル未定』が待ちきれなくなるような作品ということで、"はらぺこシングル"という打ち出しに相成った。

この日のライヴで初披露された当シングルの表題曲「メビウスの行き止まり」は、シングル用に作られた20曲近いデモから選ばれた曲。“パッと見ってやっぱアテにならないよね”をテーマにした歌詞と、随所にこれでもかとちりばめられたキャッチーさ。チャラン・ポ・ランタンの魅力が一発で伝わる、入門編にもピッタリの曲となっている。

チャラン・ポ・ランタンの2人も、“こんなブチアガる曲が夏フェスの季節に出来ていたら更に盛り上がったのになー。フェスが終わってから出来ちゃったよオイオイオイ…！ まあ、生まれたばっかのこの曲を一緒に育てにツアーに来てよね…！ オイ！オイ！オイ！”（チャランポ小春）、“初めて聴いた人でもイキモリ（いきなり盛りあがること）が出来る曲になりました！ コッテリラーメンだけどスルメのような曲！ 分かるかな～？ とにかく、この曲があれば私たちは無敵だぞーー！！！”（チャランポもも） と自信満々にコメントしている。

そして、かねてより自身のトークライヴでチャランポの曲を使用するなど、チャランポがお気に入りと公言していたチュートリアルの徳井義実。そんな国民的変態である徳井と新人変態のホープであるチャランポももが意気投合した。徳井からチャラン・ポ・ランタンへ直々の依頼により、9月からスタートするチュートリアルライブツアー2015「TUTORIALIST」の舞台音楽をチャランポが担当することが決定。6月に私立恵比寿中学のツアー音楽も担当して大好評だったチャランポだけに、仕上がりが楽しみだ。
