NAMBA69とKEN YOKOYAMAが、難波章浩の地元・新潟でハイスタ曲をサプライズ！

難波章浩（Vo＆Ba）率いるNAMBA69が、彼の地元・新潟で行なうスペシャルなイベント「PUNK ROCK THROUGHTHE NIGHT SPECIAL」。そのVol.6がKEN YOKOYAMAを迎え、12月20日（水）に新潟LOTSで開催された。

ファン待望となるこの対バンに会場は開演前から満員状態で、熱気に包まれていた。先行で登場したKEN YOKOYAMAの横山健（Vo＆Gt）は“PUNK ROCK THROUGH THE NIGHTだろ今夜は。じゃ、PUNK ROCKやろうか!!”というMCとともに、「Ricky Punks」「Ricky Punks II」を立て続けに披露。会場の至るところでモッシュ、ダイブ、パンクロックコールが巻き起こった。

その後も、新旧の楽曲を交えたセットリストでオーディエンスを魅了。中盤のMCでは、“今年は全国色々な場所でNAMBA69と対バンしたけど、新潟での対バンは格別だね!!”と喜びの気持ちを表わした。ラストの「Beautiful Song」まで計17曲。気迫の籠ったライヴに、会場は終始熱気に包まれた。

そして、NAMBA69がステージに登場。難波の“地元でKEN BANDと対バン出来るなんて、こんな素敵な夜は無いぜ!!”というMCとともに、「INTRO」「21st CENTURY DREAMS」「TRUE ROMANCE」「SUMMER TIME」を立て続けに披露し、瞬く間に辺りはモッシュとダイブの渦と化した。

MCでは、“今年はとても良い1年だった。そのラストを地元新潟でKEN BANDと締めくくれてとても幸せです”と語った難波。「GOOD TIMES」まで計16曲を、圧巻のパフォーマンスで駆け抜けた。

さらに鳴り止まぬアンコールに応え、難波と横山がステージに登場すると、ここでなんとHi-STANDARDの「CLOSE TO ME」「WAR IS OVER」が炸裂！ このサプライズで会場の熱気は最高潮へ。ラストはオーディエンスを交えたNAMBA69の「MY WAY」で幕を閉じ、新潟の夜をパンクロックが突き抜けた最高の夜となった。
