ヒステリックパニック、田島昭宇氏描き下ろしの新作「多重人格探偵サイコ」ジャケット公開

ヒスパニことヒステリックパニックが、7月20日に発売するニュー・アルバム『ノイジー・マイノリティー』の詳細を公開した。

今作のアルバム・ジャケットには、『多重人格探偵サイコ』、『魍魎戦記MADARA』などの作品で知られる田島昭宇氏描き下ろしのイラストを起用。田島氏の大ファンであるVo.ともの熱いラブ・コールにより実現したコラボレーションとなった。田島氏によるまるで『多重人格探偵サイコ』のカヴァーの様な、どこかアンリアルで官能的でもあるが、狂気をも漂わせた表情の女子高生が描かれたイラストと、ヒスパニの世界観が見事にマッチしたものに仕上がっている。

また、4月に発売されたシングル「シンデレラ・シンドローム」でウェデイングドレス姿のアーティスト写真を披露しSNS上での話題をさらったヒステリックパニックだが、今回はライブキッズに扮し、某ライブハウスの前で撮影した写真を使用。今までのアー写の中で“一番アーティスト写真らしいアーティスト写真"という意味深なもので、ファンの間では早くも物議が巻き起こっている。

そして、今作の初回プレス盤の封入特典として10月に行われるリリース・ツアーのファイナル・シーズンの超最速チケット先行予約抽選券が封入されることも発表。ソールド・アウト必至なこのツアー・ファイナルも大きな話題になりそうだ。

自らを“エクストリームJ-POPバンド"と称し、あくまでシーンの中で過激かつ積極的な姿勢を貫くバンドの現在の状況、立ち位置を、『ノイジー・マイノリティー』というアルバム・タイトルに込めたヒステリックパニック。異端である彼らの中毒者は、確実に増加中である。
