シド、ニューシングル「硝子の瞳」は『黒執事』仕様のジャケットに！

『劇場版「黒執事 Book of the Atlantic」』主題歌として2017年1月18日（水）にリリースされる、シドのニューシングル『硝子の瞳』。本シングルの期間生産限定盤（アニメ盤）のジャケット写真、そして収録内容が公開となった。


今回公開された期間生産限定盤（アニメ盤）ジャケットイラストは、アニメ「黒執事」シリーズのキャラクターデザイン・総作画監督の、芝美奈子氏による描き下ろしイラストとなっている。シリーズのメインキャラクターであるセバスチャン・ミカエリスとシエル・ファントムハイヴが全面に描かれたジャケットはファンにはたまらない1枚となりそうだ。

そして、特典には描き下ろしジャケットのイラストを使用した「ジャケットデザインステッカー」、さらには『黒執事』ファンであれば名前を聞いただけでデザインを思い浮かべることができるであろう「フェニックスステッカー」なるものが封入される。

シドは、これまでの映像商品「SIDNAD」シリーズDVD全巻を完全Blu-ray化し9枚組として収録した『SIDNAD Complete Blu-ray BOX』を12月21日（水）リリース。12月27日（火）には、日本武道館で開催される「MAVERICK DC GROUP 35th Anniversary JACK IN THE BOX 2016」に出演も決定している。

※『黒執事』： 2006年から連載がスタートした人気コミックで今年で10周年を迎える。単行本も全世界累計発行部数2300万部を超え、これまでもTVアニメーション、実写映画、ミュージカルと展開され、多くのファンに支持されている。シドはこれまでメジャーデビュー曲「モノクロのキス」、「ENAMEL」で本作のTVアニメーション主題歌を手掛けており、今回で3度目のタッグとなる。
