和楽器バンド、最新アルバムが2日連続オリコンデイリーチャート2位を獲得！

和楽器バンドのニューアルバム『四季彩-shikisai-』が、発売初日から2日連続でオリコンデイリーチャート2位にランクインした。

前作『八奏絵巻』から約1年半ぶりとなる今作は、先行配信されていた「オキノタユウ」（TBS系テレビ「CDTV」2・3月度オープニングテーマ曲/レコチョクTVCMソング）をはじめとし、テレビ東京系リオ五輪中継テーマソングとなった「起死回生」など、全16曲が収録されたボリューム感溢れるオリジナルアルバム。

中でも時間と季節の旅をテーマしたバラード曲「オキノタユウ」は、今現在、10週連続でUSENリクエストチャートにランクインを果たし、MVのYouTube再生数は300万回目前。

これは、これまでメディア露出を控えていた和楽器バンドが、昨年末のTBS「CDTVスペシャル! 年越しプレミアライブ」を皮切りに、日本テレビ「スッキリ!!」、フジテレビ「ミュージックフェア」に初出演を果たし、この「オキノタユウ」を披露してきたことが大きい。

どの番組においても、出演後のSNS上では「鳥肌立った」「感動して涙しました!!」「すごく癒される曲」「卒業式で歌いたい」などのメッセージが多数書き込まれ、時には「和楽器バンド」というワードがトレンド入りを果たすまでの反響を呼ぶこともあった。

何処となく懐かしさが感じられるメロディー、鈴華（Vo）の歌声に心を動かされたというリスナーが多く、今では幅広い層から支持される楽曲となった。

2月には2日間にわたって『和楽器バンド 大新年会2017 東京体育館 雪ノ宴・桜ノ宴』を開催し、のべ15,000人を動員。毎年恒例となっているこの新年会ライブも、2014年渋谷Club Asia（300人動員）、2015年渋谷公会堂（2,000人動員）、2016年日本武道館（10,000人動員）と徐々に規模を拡大。そして4月から18公演を駆け巡る初の全国ホールツアー『和楽器バンド HALL TOUR 2017 四季ノ彩 -Shiki no Irodori-』も決定している。

昨年は初となるアメリカツアーを敢行したり、国内の大型ロックフェスへ出演を果たすなど、大きな成長を遂げた彼ら。今や世界へと人気を拡大させている和楽器バンドが今年も音楽シーンを席巻することになりそうだ。
