DatuRΛ-ダチュラ-、エッチな刺激をばら蒔いてると思ったら最高のエクスタシーじゃない。

　昨年12月21日に、＜Vocal.怜央、Guitar.みぃる、Guitar.ギル、Bass.楓華、Drums.φ-fai-＞の5人で活動をスタートさせたDatuRΛ。5月15日より、彼らは2ndシングル『imitation』を発売。9月に 「DatuRΛ 初東名阪主催ツアー〜Blooming Mad Desire〜」を実施。10月5日には、池袋EDGEで「「DatuRΛ初単独公演 孤蝶乱舞〜Drown the metel〜」をおこてうことも発表した。
ここでは、DatuRΛのサウンドの要となるヴォーカルの怜央とギターのみぃるにDatuRΛの魅力を伺った。


僕自身、女性目線のほうがナチュラルに感情を出しやすいんですよ。そのほうが表現的にもイケると言いますか。

――まずは、バンドが軸に据えていることから教えてください。
怜央 DatuRΛは「艶っぽくアダルトな…大人の雰囲気」を軸に据えて活動をしています。その妖艶さへ激しい部分も加えながら表現しているのが、今です。
――アダルトなという言葉は納得と言いますか、怜央さんの書く歌詞はとてもエロいですよね。
怜央 エロというよりも、ヤラしい。そういう世界観を表現の軸にしていますし、それがDatuRΛだからこその世界観を作りあげています。
みぃる どんな楽曲を作っても、怜央が歌うとエロくなるんです。
怜央 ヤラしい…。
みぃる そう、ヤラしくなる。そのセクシーで艶っぽい面をDatuRΛが魅力にしているのは間違いないです。
――楽曲を制作する際にもセクシーさは大切にしているのでしょうか?
みぃる そこは意識しているところです。あとは、怜央の求める表情に合わせてという面も心がけています。
――怜央さんの綴る歌詞は、女性目線が多いですよね。それはどうしてなのでしょうか?
怜央 現状8割方の楽曲を女性目線で書いてますが、僕自身が女性目線のほうがナチュラルに感情を出しやすいからなんですよ。そのほうが表現的にもイケると言いますか。
――もしや、普段から女性を泣かせたりイカせたりしているのでしょうか?
怜央 そうなれたら理想です。


聴いた人たちがムラムラしてくれたら、それは僕らの勝ちということで（笑）。

――1stシングル『禁断の果実』の魅力も教えてください。
怜央 『禁断の果実』はシャッフル調の、何よりアダルトさを一番に出した楽曲になりました。まさに『禁断の果実』こそ、DatuRΛの根幹を成す楽曲なんです。
――シャッフルビートという面は、2ndシングル『imitation』のC/Wに収録した『MASK』にも共通する面ですよね。
怜央 『MASK』は、『禁断の果実』の流れを踏襲した楽曲であり、DatuRΛのスタイルの中心軸となる楽曲の一つですからね。
みぃる より、ラウド性を強調したうえでね。
――最新シングル『imitation』は、どんな狙いを持って制作したのでしょうか?
みぃる 『imitation』はラウドに攻めた表情を持った楽曲。当初セクシーさは意識していなかったのですが、怜央が歌うことで自然とその要素が描き加えられました。
怜央 『imitation』はヤラしさを含め、より大人向けの表情として描きあげています。
――これを聴いたら、女性ファンはムラムラしてしまうんじゃない?
怜央 聴いた人たちがムラムラしてくれたら、それは僕らの勝ちということで（笑）。


ワンマンは最低10回はエクスタシーを与えれば、最後には絶頂を覚えさせますから。

――9月には、東名阪を舞台にした主催ツアーも決定しました。
みぃる 前々から「地方にも足を運んで欲しい」という声があったので、ようやくその気持ちに応えられる機会が訪れました。僕自身、地方でのライブは初めてなのでいろんな意味で楽しみです。
怜央 今回のツアーを通して初めてDatuRΛに触れる人たちも多いはず。PVを通してDatuRΛの音楽には触れてもらえてたとしても、またライブは異なるヤラしさを表現しているように、そこはぜひ直接感じに来て欲しいなと思ってる。
――10月5日には、池袋EDGEを舞台に初ワンマン公演も決定しました。
怜央 当初は活動半年後にと思っていましたが、東名阪を舞台にした主催ツアーなど先に展開を作ったうえで、その流れを持っての形から10月5日に開催することにしました。ワンマン公演に関しては、とくに気負うこともなく、何時も通りのDatuRΛを魅せていくだけです。
みぃる むしろ、ワンマン公演を通して初めて観るでも構わない。いろんな人たちと出会いたいですからね。
――これからDatuRΛを味わう人のために、「DatuRΛのここを見て欲しい」というポイントがあったら教えてください。
みぃる 「刺激が欲しければDatuRΛのライブに来い」です。とにかく、触れたまま感じるままの印象が、あなたにとってのDatuRΛだと思うので。
怜央 DatuRΛにとってライブはSEX。DatuRΛのライブに来たら気持ちよくなれる。お互いに気持ちよく一つになりたい。何よりワンマンでは、最低10回はエクスタシーを与えれば、最後には絶頂を覚えさせますから。
