FLOW、ミニアルバム『Fighting Dreamers』詳細＆15周年を飾る新ビジュアル解禁

2017年7月よりデビュー15周年イヤーをスタートさせるFLOWが、6月28日にリリースするミニアルバム『Fighting Dreamers』の収録内容を発表。さらに15年目の新しいアー写やジャケット写真も同時に公開となった。

15周年突入記念となる今作では、総勢11名の豪華声優陣のコーラス参加や、メンバーそれぞれが作詞作曲を手掛けた新曲など、新しいFLOWが詰まった豪華な作品となった。

1曲目にはライブさながらの一発録音にて生まれ変わった「GO!!!」を収録。総勢11名の豪華声優陣がコーラスとして応援に駆けつけた「GO!!! ～15th Anniversary ver.〜」と題されたこの曲は、この15年間でFLOWが出逢った人々の顔が見えてくるような、エネルギーが詰まった音源に仕上がっている。コール＆レスポンス部分では思わずライブさながらに叫びたくなるようなFLOWの真骨頂がうかがえる。聴くたびに楽しく、そして新しい発見ができる内容となっているので、ぜひ耳を澄まして何度も聴いてほしい。

つづく2曲目からはメンバーひとりひとりが作詞・作曲をした新曲5曲が並んでいる。KOHSHIが初作曲を行なった「Go! Go! Drinkers」は、タイトルからも分かる通り、“酒"をテーマとした全世界の酒飲み達に告ぐ楽曲となっており、テキーラ・マエストロの資格を持つ、まさにKOHSHIらしい曲だ。

3曲目はGOT‘Sの作詞・作曲「秘密の作戦」。ベーシストならではのスラップから始まるアップテンポなリズムに、ヴォーカル泣かせの高速ラップが印象的な楽曲だ。これでもかと詰め込まれた歌詞にも注目してみるとさらに面白さを感じられる一曲。ライブでも盛り上がる事間違いなしの楽曲に仕上がった。

4曲目の「クライムオン」はTAKEの作詞・作曲。GroovyなシャッフルBeatにラップとメロディーを重ね、先日TAKEが出演した『有吉反省会』でも話題になった趣味 “登山" をテーマに、「上を目指し登り続けていく」というバンドの思いを重ねた、TAKEならではの心躍る内容だ。

5曲目にはIWASAKI初作詞・作曲の「Bet or Dead」。IWASAKIの力強くキレのあるドラム、そしてよりノイジーに鳴くギターがとても印象的な、これぞまさに“男のロック"といった楽曲。最終曲にはKEIGO初作曲となった「旅の途中」。このアルバム唯一のミディアムバラード曲はKEIGOからの作品。このミニアルバムの最後を優しく、そしてバンドの未来を見据えた曲で締めくくっている。

こうして集められたジャンルも様々なFLOW5人のDNAが色濃く反映された5曲だが、不思議とFLOWとしての作品としてまとまりを成している。誰が曲をつくろうとも、彼らが演奏すればFLOWになってしまうところは15年の土台があるからなのだろう。

初回生産限定盤のDVDには「GO!!! ～15th Anniversary ver.～」のMVとレコーディングメイキング映像を収録。MVはFLOWが辿ってきた15年の軌跡と現在で構成され、もちろんコーラスで参加している11名の豪華声優陣達もお目見えしている。さらにメイキング映像には、メンバーのみならず声優陣11名のレコーディング時のオフショット映像も収録されたとても豪華な仕上がりとなっている。ファンはもちろん、誰が見ても楽しめる内容なのでぜひチェックしておきたい。
