布袋寅泰、日本武道館公演の映像作品より全35曲のダイジェストを公開

布袋寅泰が6月28日（水）にリリースする35周年アニバーサリープロジェクトを締めくくった日本武道館公演の映像作品『Climax Emotions ～Live at 武道館～』。その全35曲のダイジェストムービーが公開された。

この作品は2016年12月30日（金）に日本武道館で行なわれた『Climax Emotions ～35 Songs from 1981-2016～』を収録したもので、BOØWY、COMPLEX時代を含む、現在までのオールキャリアの中から厳選した35曲を3時間にわたって完全収録。単なる集大成ではなく、さらなる未来をも期待させる感動の永久保存盤と言っても過言では無いライブ作品となっている。

ダイジェストムービーはオープニングナンバーの「SUPERSONIC GENERATION」から、ソロでは初めてプレイされたBOφWY時代の楽曲「DANCING IN THE PLEASURE LAND」を始めとしてじっくりと聴かせるバラードや、ギタープレイを存分に堪能できるインストゥルメンタル曲を挟み、「バンビーナ」「POISON」「スリル」といった大ヒットシングルから観客の大合唱が鳴り響くダブルアンコールまで、観るものをぐいぐいと惹きこむ圧巻のステージが約8分間に凝縮されている。
　
初回限定盤には、35周年イヤーを刻み続けた布袋に1年間密着した、2時間におよぶ貴重なドキュメンタリー映像Special documentary movie “8Beatのリアリティー"をパッケージ。世界を駆け巡った1年の舞台裏に迫る作品が付属される。併せて、2007年にリリースした『MTV UNPLUGGED』以来10年ぶりとなるライブCDも同時発売される。映像作品と同じく、武道館公演を完全収録した同作はファンからの強い要望があり、久しぶりのライブ音源リリースが実現した。ファンと布袋にとっても様々な思い出がある“日本武道館"でのライブ音源は感涙必至だ。
