Dr.DOWNER、初ワンマンはソールドアウトで大盛況

　Dr.DOWNER初のワンマンライブ「爆裂地下室GIG 」が下北沢シェルターにて行われた。

　昨年7月にリリースしたアルバム『幻想のマボロシ』をひっさげての全国ツアーを経て、着実に動員数、ライブ力をのばしてきたDr.DOWNER。キャリア初のワンマンとなった満員の会場では、開演前から異様な熱気に包まれていた。

　満を持してステージにメンバーが登場すると溜め込んでいたオーディエンスのエネルギーが一気にあふれ出す。おなじみのSEそして、鳴り響くギターのフィードバックノイズから、タイトルチューン「幻想のマボロシ」でスタート。1曲目から一気にトップギアで走り出し、オーディエンスの熱で加速する。冒頭と同じ流れで2曲目を「悲しい歌が鳴り響く前に」につなぎ、そこから印象的なギターリフが突き刺さる「バビロンタウン」に流れ込む。熱気に包まれた満員の会場を前に猪股（Vo&Gt）も笑みをこぼす。

　「砂漠のサーカス」「ロストホープ」、そしてかつて所属していたレーベルcosmicnoteのコンピレーションアルバムに収録される「アナーキーイン逗子」を披露。いつものDr.DOWNERとはまた違う楽曲の表情をみせた。そしてこの日は新曲「MAYONAKA」と「ウェザーニュース」二曲を初披露。Dr.DOWNERらしいメロディ、ボーカルとギターリフがからみあう、彼らの新たな一歩に期待が高まる楽曲になっている。

　終盤は「さよならティーンエイジ」「レインボー」などを続けざまに披露。ツアーで鍛え上げてきた歴戦の楽曲で会場を盛り上げていく。小石（Dr）、星野（Ba）が刻むタイトなビートにささえられ、さらにライブの熱はまし、「ライジング」では激しさだけではない猪股（Vo&Gt）の言葉の強さが光る。さらに高橋ケイタ（Gt）ギターがうなるギターソロコーナーからの「暴走列車」で会場のテンションはピークに達し、「絶望はとっくに飽きたのさ」からの「ドクターダウナーのテーマ」で本編は幕を閉じた。

　本編終了後も興奮冷めやらぬ会場に再度登場したメンバーは「ユーウツ祭りスタイル」で会場をさらなる熱狂の渦へと変え、アンコールの最後に猪股（Vo&Gt）の思い入れの深い「ラストソング」を演奏し大団円を迎えた。

　またこの日、4月に同じく下北沢シェルターにて行われるイベント開催の発表も。同企画のチケットは、本日18日21時よりオフィシャルサイトサイトにて先行受付が行われる。
