グッドモーニングアメリカ、『凌ぎ合う』ファイナルで完全復活

グッドモーニングアメリカが8月2日に東京・渋谷 TSUTAYA O-WESTにて、自主企画イベント『凌ぎ合う』Vol.9を開催。ポリープ手術を終えた金廣真悟（Vo, G）の“復活祭”と銘打った東名阪ライヴのファイナルを飾った。

金廣のポリープ手術のため、約3ヶ月間にわたりライヴ活動を休止していたグッドモーニングアメリカ。『凌ぎ合う』は、7月から8月にかけて東名阪で行われる自主企画で、“金廣真悟 復活祭”と銘打って行われていたもの。ソールドアウトで迎えたこの日のライブは、ゲストバンドにPAN、爆弾ジョニーを迎え、渋谷 TSUTAYA O-WESTを満員のファンが埋め尽くし行われた。

対バンライブの最後に登場したグッドモーニングアメリカは、「キャッチアンドリリース」「鉛空のスターゲイザー」「その手伸ばして」と序盤から焚きつけると、たなしんは「帰ってきたぜ東京！“金廣真悟 復活祭”と称して東名阪やらせてもらいましたけど、今日がファイナルですよ！」と煽る。渡邊幸一（Gt / Cho）は「爆弾（ジョニー）は、3年前に『めざましライブ』で2マンをやって以来。爆弾も復活してなかなかタイミングが合わなかった」と対バンの実現を喜び、ペギ（Dr / Cho）は、ライヴハウスでの共演は初となるPANについて「岡山での大先輩なので、こうしてできて嬉しいです」と語った。

ここで今一度この日の出演者に向けて拍手が送られると、金廣は「“復活祭”なので高い曲ばっかりやります。楽しんでください」と「アブラカタブラ」からたたみかけるように披露していく。高校から活動を始めたバンドは、途中2年間の活動休止期間を挟みつつも、これまで止まることなく活動を続けてきた。渡邊は「こんな生活をしてたから、この3ヶ月めちゃくちゃ長かった」と思いを明かし、金廣も「当時の2年間の休止と、今の3ヶ月の休止は全然違って、自分たちの場所があるかどうかはとても不安でした」「歩みは止めず進んでいくので、これからもずっと一緒にいてくれたら嬉しいです」と語り、大事な曲をと選んだのは「花」。そして「イチ、ニッ、サンでジャンプ」「未来へのスパイイラル」で大合唱を沸き起こし、4人は深いお辞儀をもって本編を終了した。

アンコールに再登場したバンドは、11月11日に地元・八王子にて行う『八王子天狗祭2017』について「（昨年開催して）まだまだ2年生ですけど、素晴らしい場所にします。出演者も本当に素晴らしいメンツなので、楽しみにしていてください」とファンの期待を煽る。そして「コピペ」で沸かし、たなしんによる恒例の「ファイヤー！」でライブを締めると思いきや、予定外のもう一曲を届けることに。「今日は皆さん本当に来てくれてありがとうございました！」「ファイヤー！」の大歓声の後に「また会えるよね」で幕をおろした。
