10-FEET、アルバム『Fin』発売記念スペシャル・トークイベントが大盛況

日本工学院蒲田キャンパス片柳ホールにて10月22日、10-FEETのニューアルバム『Fin』（11月1日発売）のリリース記念スペシャル・トークイベント『ほな、ちょっとだけ先に聴かせてもらえまっ会』、そして、毎週木曜日夜8時にTOKYO FMで放送されているラジオ番組『FESTIVAL OUT』の公開収録が行なわれた。

MCを務めるのは『FESTIVAL OUT』パーソナリティーの大抜卓人。「スペシャルゲストです！10-FEET！」と紹介した後、Vo./Gt.TAKUMA、Ba./Vo.NAOKI、Dr./Cho.KOUICHIの順に10-FEETのメンバーがステージに登場！　会場中に盛大な拍手と歓声が湧き上がった。今回のイベントはニューアルバム『Fin』に収録されている15曲の中から、メンバーが抽選箱から1～15番のボールを引き、引いた番号の曲を試聴できるという内容になっており、運営を担当する日本工学院学生スタッフが抽選箱をステージまで持ってくると、それを10-FEETの3人はあたたかく迎えるーー。

1曲目はTAKUMAが15番のボールを引き当て、15曲目に収録の『何度も咲きました』の試聴が決定。スローテンポから始まり、アップテンポに切り替わるような同曲のパワー溢れるサウンドと歌詞が会場に響き渡る。

続いて、2曲目はNAOKIが引き、6曲目に収録されている『十二支』に決定。KOUICHIが「レコーディングの時にTAKUMAにいきなり歌え」と言われ、歌った曲がそのまま収録されたというユーモア溢れるエピソードもあって、「Ne Ushi Tora U Tatsu Mi」と歌うKOUICHIの歌声に会場にドッと湧き上がった。遊び心を忘れず、いつでも本気な10-FEET。KOUICHIがメインで歌う楽曲ということもあり、ライブではどのように披露されるのか楽しみだ。

そして、3曲目はKOUICHIが引き、4曲目に収録されている『ウミガラスとアザラシ』を試聴。今までのトークイベントでも一度も披露されたことがないという『ウミガラスとアザラシ』。ゆったりとしたテンポで、コーラスのハーモニーが魅力的な同曲をじっくりと聴く観客の姿が印象的だった。

4曲目は1曲目に収録の『1 size FITS ALL』のMVが流れる。10-FEETらしさ100％！　迫力のあるゴリゴリとしたミクスチャーサウンドに、観客も自然と身体が動いてしまう。サビ部分が関西弁になっているというところにも注目だ。

その後も10-FEETへの質問コーナーも設けられ、観客との距離がグッと縮まり、ライブ会場のような盛り上がった本日のイベント。笑いがこみ上げるような楽しいトークや、楽曲誕生のきっかけなど、10-FEET秘話やメンバー間のチームワークの良さが感じられた一日となった。

ちなみに『Fin』の完全生産限定盤と初回生産限定盤には、MV集や『京都大作戦2017』の模様も一部収録される。また、『10-FEET “Fin” TOUR 2017-2018』は今年の10月31日～来年の6月11日まで開催される。今後もパワーアップし続ける10-FEETの活躍に目が離せない。
