BIGMAMA、メジャー1stシングルが初ドラマ主題歌に決定

BIGMAMAがメジャー移籍第一弾シングル「Strawberry Feels」を3月7日にリリースすること、さらに同曲がMBS/TBS系列で1月より放送となるシリーズ累計370万部突破の大ヒット漫画「賭ケグルイ」の実写ドラマの主題歌となることを発表した。

「Strawberry Feels」はドラマ「賭ケグルイ」の壮絶な駆け引きと騙し合いが繰り広げられるストーリーを表現した退廃的な世界観の歌詞に、甘美なヴァイオリンのメロディーと鋭利なバンドサウンドが絡み合い、疾走感と重量感を兼ね備えた唯一無二のBIGMAMAのらしさが全面に出た攻撃的な楽曲となっている。また、カップリングには、昨年初の武道館ワンマン公演で初披露した新曲で、ポップで軽快に弾け飛ぶような「POPCORN STAR」、より衝動的で狂気に満ちた「Donuts killed Bradford」と、全曲タイトルに食べ物の名前がつけられ、シングル全体としてコンセプチュアルな内容となっている。

2018年、インディーズシーンを代表する孤高のヴァイオリンロックバンドであるBIGMAMAが新たな切り開く新しい世界に注目だ。
