BAND-MAID、ZEPP TOKYO『お給仕』超満員＆今夏ニューシングル発売

BAND-MAIDが4月13日に東名阪ツアー『BAND-MAID WORLD DOMINATION TOUR 2018【宣告】』のファイナル公演を東京ZEPP TOKYOにて開催した。チケットはソールドアウトし、会場には2,00人のご主人様・お嬢様が集結。熱狂のお給仕（ライヴ）を展開した。

ロウソクを灯した巨大シャンデリアが暗転した会場をゆらりと照らす中、 SEが鳴り響き、メンバーが登場する。 お給仕のオープニングナンバーは、バンドの目標である「世界征服」を改めて宣告した「DOMINATION」。 オープニングからレーザービームが会場に散乱する、派手な演出で熱狂のお給仕が開幕した。

序盤から「Play」「the non-fiction days」「モラトリアム」といった超攻撃的ナンバーでZEPP TOKYOを大きく揺らし続け、11曲をノンストップで熱くパフォーマンスした。途中の「Don't you tell ME」では、KANAMI（Gt）とMISA（Ba）による互いのソロでバトルを繰り広げるライブアレンジで、会場の熱気をさらに高めた。

中盤には、彩姫（Vo）とKANAMIによるアコースティック編成の「Puzzle」「anemone」を披露し、彩姫の妖艶な歌声に観客は酔いしれ、緩急をつけた選曲で彼女たちの音楽性の幅広さを見せつつ、今回のツアーで初披露されたインスト楽曲では、小鳩ミク（Gt＆Vo）、KANAMI、MISA、AKANE（Dr）の4人でスキルフルなプレイで観客を魅了し、演奏力の高さを改めて印象付けた。

終盤には、BAND-MAIDのワンマンお給仕で恒例となっている、小鳩ミクによる“おまじないタイム”に突入。ここまでのハードなロックサウンドで彩られた空間から一転、メイドワールドが広がり「萌え萌え」「キュンキュン」の大合唱が起こり、その流れから、小鳩ミクの歌唱楽曲「Rock in me」を始めようとすると、楽器隊は現れず、カラオケ音源で小鳩が歌うという寸劇で、会場は笑いで包まれた。

その後、楽器隊が「Rock in me」を演奏し、小鳩ミクの可愛らしくも力強い歌声で、会場を再びハードロックな空間を作り上げた。彩姫が再登場すると、ここからお給仕の終幕、そして、"世界征服”に向け、勇往邁進していく。「FREEDOM」では、クールな印象が強い彩姫がヒールを脱ぎ捨て、ステージからアリーナに降り、ご主人様・お嬢様に支えられつつ熱唱するというエモい場面が見られた。

お給仕ラストは、海外でも高い評価を受ける「Choose me」で締め、BAND-MAIDメンバー、そして、会場を埋め尽くしたご主人様・お嬢様が、BAND-MAIDの"世界征服”の第一歩を実感した大熱狂のお給仕の幕は閉じた。

終演後には、世界征服を改めて掲げてから初のワールドツアーを含めたお給仕情報とともに、今夏に新シングルをリリースすることも発表した。 2018年は、バンド結成5周年を迎える節目となり、“世界征服”に向け走り出したBAND-MAIDの動向にぜひ注目してもらいたい。
