ブルース・ディッキンソンのドキュメンタリー映画が6月に公開

アイアン・メイデンで約30年にわたってボーカルを務めるブルース・ディッキンソンのドキュメンタリーフィルム『ブルース・ディッキンソン（アイアン・メイデン）　サラエボの叫び』の公開が決定した。

舞台となるのは、ブルースが、アイアン・メイデンを脱退した後の1994年。当時戦時下だったボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ連邦の首都サラエボにて、自らのバンド“スカンクワークス”を引き連れてライヴを敢行するディッキンソンのインタビューをはじめ、スタッフの証言や映像を交え、サラエボの当時の情勢や本ディッキンソンの動向を映し出している。映画は『サラエボ映画祭』観客賞、人権賞、特別審査員賞（ドキュメンタリー）を受賞するなど数々の映画祭にて高い評価を得た。

ロンドンでは日本時間4月18日にプレミア上映を実施、ディッキンソン本人も登壇した。なお、日本では日本でも6月9日からシネマート新宿、6月15日からシネマート心斎橋で1週間限定で特別上映される。チケットの先行販売は5月13日まで実施中。

さらに日本初公開に際し、音楽評論家・伊藤政則の登壇も決定。伊藤はアイアン・メイデンの黎明期からバンドを追い続け、初期からインタビューも敢行。日本のメディアでバンドを最初に紹介した第一人者でもあ理、バンドからオファーを受けての今回のドキュメンタリー映画に関するブルース・ディッキンソン単独インタビューは伊藤1人。伊藤は6月10日にシネマート新宿、6月15日にシネマート心斎橋に登壇する。
