sumika、劇場アニメ『君の膵臓をたべたい』のOP曲＆劇中歌＆主題歌を担当

sumikaが原作累計260万部突破・大ヒット小説の劇場アニメ『君の膵臓をたべたい』のオープニングテーマ・劇中歌・主題歌の3曲の制作を担当することが決定した。この3曲はすべて劇場アニメのための書き下ろしとなり、楽曲制作前からsumikaとアニメ映画監督である牛嶋監督との幾度かの打合せを経て制作された。また『君の膵臓をたべたい』原作者である住野よるも数年前に読者から薦められたことをきっかけに、ライブに通うほどsumikaファンだということもあり、作品と音楽の必然の出会いを感じさせるタイアップとなりそうだ。

sumikaの片岡健太（Vo＆Gu）は、“素晴らしい原作があって、そこにリスペクトを持った制作チームと共に、化学変化を楽しみながら、作品を作り上げました”とコメントを寄せている。この発表とともに、sumikaの新曲「ファンファーレ」が使用された劇場アニメ『君の膵臓をたべたい』の新特報が公開となったので、ぜひチェックしてほしい。なお、劇場アニメ『君の膵臓をたべたい』は9月1日全国ロードショーとなるので、他の楽曲と作品がどのように世界観を広げていくのか、お楽しみに！

まずファンとしてとても嬉しいです。
数年前に読者さんから教えていただいたことがきっかけでsumikaの音楽に出逢い、ファンになりました。CDを買いライブも行きTシャツも持っています。
そして、作者としての嬉しさがあります。『君の膵臓をたべたい』はまぎれもなく読者さんが世に送り出し、育ててきてくれたお話です。
そのアニメの曲を、読者さんを通じて知ったsumikaの皆さんが作ってくださることは、『君の膵臓をたべたい』という本へのクライマックスとして、これ以上なく素敵なことだと感じています。

サビへ向かって助走をつけて一気に爆発するような、エネルギッシュな曲だと思いました。
sumikaさんの曲がその映像にのったとき、とても美しい化学変化を起こせたと思っています。
