Drop’s　2018年冬、いよいよ新章突入！2年半ぶりスタジオレコーディングアルバムが完成

中野ミホ(Vo&Gt)、荒谷朋美(Gt)、小田満美子(Ba)、石川ミナ子（Dr）の4人体制となった新生Drop’sとして初めて挑んだ約2年半ぶりのアルバムレコーディングとなる今作には、数々のアーティストへ楽曲提供する “作曲家・多保孝一氏”との共同制作が実現！バンドと多保氏で共同制作されたリード曲「Cinderella」のほか、既にライブでもお馴染みの4曲を今回初めてスタジオレコーディング！またJR東日本のCM曲としてテレビ放映され話題になり、多保氏がDrop‘sを知るきっかけとなった「冬のごほうび〜恋もごほうび」も初収録！今回収録された全６曲はこれまでものとは一線を画し、まさに新章の始まりに相応しいロックバンドとしても大きな進化が見て取れる新境地作品だ。
さらに今回、バンド結成10周年を迎える2019春にミニアルバムが今作に続きリリースされることも早々にインフォメーションされ4人体制になった新生Drop’sの充実ぶりを窺い知ることができる。
しかし！まずは2018年12月21日（金）に2年半ぶりに発売されるmini album「organ」、そして同日に行われる記念すべきワンマンライブの情報を心して待とう！！！

＜PROFILE＞
2009年、北海道・札幌の同じ高校に入学し偶然出会った中野ミホ(Vo&Gt)、荒谷朋美(Gt)、小田満美子(Ba)、石橋わか乃(Key)、奥山レイカ(Dr)の5人でDropʼsを結成。
2013年、メジャーデビュー。デビュー1stフルアルバム『DAWN SIGNALS』は「第6回CD SHOP大賞2014 北海道ブロック賞」を受賞し地元北海道では話題に。その後、ライブツアーや数々の音楽フェスへの出演していく中、念願だった大型フェス“RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2015 in EZO”へ初出演をする。弾みのついたバンド活動は映画「無伴奏」「月光」「復讐したい」といった3作の映画で主題歌や挿入歌として立て続けに起用されるという形で結実し、CM方面でもJR東日本「行くぜ、東北。SPECIAL 冬のごほうび」といったメジャー級のCMで中野ミホが起用されるなど、これまでのライブバンドとしての活動だけでなく幅の広いアーティスト活動として確実な成長を遂げていく。2017年にはオリジナルメンバーだった奥山レイカ(Dr)が脱退するといった残念な出来事があったもののそれらを乗り越え、活動拠点をそれまでの札幌から新たに東京に移し心機一転。新ドラマー石川ミナ子も合流し第2期Dropʼsがスタート。その後、学業専念のため一時休養していたオリジナルメンバー石橋わか乃(Key)が脱退する事態もあったが、2018年冬、4人体制となった新生 Drop'sは決意新たに新章をスタートさせる！
