JACK IN THE BOX 2018 ～LAST BUDOKAN～ 2016年以来、2年ぶりの開催決定！！！

12月27日(木)＜平成最後の年末緊急招集！！
MAVERICK DC GROUP PRESENTS JACK IN THE BOX 2018 ～LAST BUDOKAN～＞が、開催されることが決定した。

2016年以来、2年ぶりの開催となる＜JACK IN THE BOX＞とは、MAVERICK DC GROUP主催のライヴイベントで、2007年に＜JACK IN THE BOX＞になってから、2011年の武道館まで5年連続で開催し、夏の公演なども含め、計10回の公演を行ってきた。

まず、第1弾出演アーティストとして発表されたのは、前身イベント「天嘉」から出演し続け、タフなライヴパフォーマンスで国内外から高い評価を得るMUCC、＜JACK IN THE BOX＞には過去フル出演、華麗なステージングとキャッチーな楽曲で、日本のロックシーンを牽引するシド、自由な音楽性と洗練されたヴィジュアルで定評のあるユナイト、ストイック且つ攻撃的なスタイルはV系随一とも称されるDEZERT、そして10年に渡り数々の伝説的セッションを生み出したMDC SUPER ALL STARSの4バンド1セッションが発表された。

前身イベント「天嘉」時代より、様々な組み合わせで伝説に残るセッションが頻繁に行われてきた日本武道館で今年はどんな名演、怪演が繰り広げられるのか、予想は全くつかない。
しかし、今回も「JACK IN THE BOX」というタイトル通り、“びっくり箱”のごとく観るものを驚かせてくれるのは間違いないだろう。
さらに、今年はシドの結成15周年イヤーにも重なっているので、なおさらその“びっくり箱”を期待せざるを得ない。

今回のJACK IN THE BOX 2018は「～LAST BUDOKAN～」というサブタイトルもついており、“LAST”が「改修前最後の武道館」という意味なのか、はたまた別の意味を持っているのか。

“最後”の武道館、何かが起こる！
