Magistina Saga、3人編成で新たにスタート。新アーティスト写真も公開!!

バンドが進化の過程を描く上で大切な事柄がある。それは、「"進化"を遂げるために"変化"を求めること」だ。それを、積極的に求めてのことなのか、求めてはいなかったが、結果的に変化を要したのか。そこは、それぞれのバンドごとに意識や事情が異なるように、こちらがどうこう言うことではない。大切なのは、その変化を、どうプラスにしてゆくかということ。
　その変化が、プラスに転じるきっかけになるバンドもいれば、その変化を、さらなる上昇のための起爆剤にしてゆくバンドもいる。もちろん、その変化に上手く対応できず、失速してしまうバンドだって実際にいる。その変化を、いかにコントロールしてゆくかが、そのバンドの未来図を描く鍵になる。

これまで5人編成で活動してきたMagistina Sagaにも、新たな変化の波が押し寄せた。すでにご存じの方も多いだろうか。Magistina Sagaのサウンドを支えてきた下手ギターとベースが、今年1月にバンドを卒業した。その事実を踏まえ、Magistina Sagaが出した答えが、「現状のまま3人で活動を継続させよう」ということだった。
バンドに新しい刺激を持ち込むことも、一つの方法だ。ても、一つに混じり合った濃い絆をより太くしてゆくのも、バンドを成長させるうえで一つの選択肢になる。Magistina Sagaは今回、後者を選択。その意志を改めて自分たちでもしっかり噛みしめようと、最新となるヴィジュアル姿を撮影。「この3人でMagistina Sagaは未来への航海を続けてゆく」と宣言した。

　2月23日から、現体制となってのライブがスタート。何はともあれ、より研ぎ澄まされた形を持ったMagistina Sagaの姿に触れていただきたい。これまでの歩みを知っている人たちは、Magistina Sagaがどんな風に牙を研いだのかを。まだ未体験の人たちは、新しい刺激を彼らに求めてみるのは如何だろうか。今回の情報を受け止めた側も、その変化をまだ耳にも、目にもしていないように、ファンの方々と同じように「どんな風に進化したのか」へ興味を持っている状態だ。気になるなら、まずは体感せよ……そういうことだよな。
