まかろんK&rigによる共鳴絵画プロジェクト「光のかたち」が始動

2020年8月1日、イラストレーターのまかろんKとV系バンド未完成アリスのコンポーザーであるrig(バンドでは和希名義)の共鳴絵画プロジェクト「光のかたち」が始動した。

本ユニットはまかろんKの描いた８枚のイラスト作品を、rigが楽曲に載せて表現するプロジェクトだ。
まかろんKは2017年6月からTwitterでの活動を開始、2020年6月27日に投稿した「恋の痛みを知るキミへ」と銘打った４人の登場人物から成る４枚のイラストが24.1万いいね、3.8万リツイートもの大きな共感、反響を生み話題となった。
rigはこのコロナ騒動の中、47都道府県ツアーとツアーファイナルマイナビBLITZ赤坂中断を余儀無くされたものの、クラウドファンディングにより300万円の支援目標を見事達成したバンド「未完成アリス」のメインコンポーザーだ。今回まかろんKの絵画に感銘を受けたrigがまかろんKに直接コンタクトをとり、このプロジェクトが立ち上がった。

更にこのプロジェクトのボーカリストには、絵からイメージされた４人の歌い手が選出されている。従来この様なプロジェクトはVOCALOIDが歌うポップでデジタルなサウンドに仕上がる風潮にあった。だがこのプロジェクトでは一人一人がオリジナル曲のボーカリストとしてデビューを果たす。４人の登場人物に想いを重ね、それぞれの光のかたちを表現する。そんな意味合いも込めた挑戦的なプロジェクトなのだ。所謂「歌ってみた」というコンテンツ、そこに属する歌い手達に対しても、新しいアプローチとなる事は間違い無いだろう。

絵師、音楽家、歌い手がパーソナルに共鳴し合う光のかたちの今後に注目だ。
