MUCC、9月20日の配信ライヴを11月25日に最速リリース決定

2020年6月21日に渋谷ストリームホールでバンド初の無観客有料配信ライヴとなる「～Fight against COVID-19 #2 『惡－THE BROKEN RESUSCITATION』」を行い、10月7日にその映像盤をリリースしたMUCCが、その興奮も冷めやらぬ11月25日に新たな映像商品をリリースすることが急遽決定した。

この映像は9月20日に東京・竹芝にて新しくオープンした総合商業施設、「東京ポートシティ竹芝」内に設置されたイベントスペース「ポートホール」にて開催され、こけら落としとなった施設初の音楽イベント、「～Fight against COVID-19 #3 『惡－THE BROKEN RESUSCITATION』」の模様を完全収録。
音・映像共にできる限り無編集、最速/最短でユーザーに届けるということを命題として制作されたものである。
ライヴ当日よりわずか66日後のリリースとなる。
これは数多くリリースされている音楽ライヴの映像作品としては破格のスピードとなり、MUCCメンバー・スタッフの意気込みたるや、まさに鬼気迫る、と言っても過言では無いだろう。

俗に言われる「コロナ禍」により、音楽業界に関してはコンサート・ライヴという本質の部分を奪われたことにより、各アーティストが進むべき道を模索する中、「配信ライヴとは何か？」に着目し、実験的なものも含めて数多くの配信ライヴを重ねてきたMUCC。

演出・映像・音に関して他の追随を許さない程の進歩的なライヴとなった6月21日渋谷ストリームホールでのライヴも大きな話題を呼んだが、今回もその実験欲求は留まることも無く。
今回の配信ライヴでは更に進化を深め、ドローンでの撮影や、ステージ上の4K巨大スクリーンを使用した映像演出なども数多く見られた。
オンラインによる世界各国からの聴衆の参加、客席を設けずにホール全体を活かしたことによる２ステージでの演奏など、「今だから出来る音楽の見せ方」を追求し続けるMUCC。
FC会員限定完全生産限定盤には、当日のドキュメント映像やマルチアングル用に編集された各メンバーの追従映像が収録されたDISCも付属されるとのこと。

年末12月27日には日本武道館でのワンマンライヴも決定し、コロナ禍により混沌とした音楽業界においても、精力的に活動するその姿をじっくりとご覧頂きたい。
