シド マオの自己啓発的エッセイ『ポジティブの魔法』が、5月12日に幻冬舎より発売決定

このたび幻冬舎より、ロックバンドSID(シド)のヴォーカリスト・マオさんの最新エッセイ『ポジティブの魔法』を、5月12日に発売いたします。
世界中が未曾有のウイルスに翻弄され落ち込んでいる最中ですが、そんなときこそ、少しでも視線を上げて、小さくてもポジティブな行動を始めてみよう、というメッセージが本書には込められています。
これまでの人生の中で、マオさん自身が岐路に立って悩み考えたこと、本を読んだり周囲の人たちから学んだことなど、さまざまな経験を通して得た思考を、具体的なエピソードとともに、「人間関係」「恋愛」「夢実現」「仕事」「お金と価値観」「心と体の健康」のテーマ別に綴りました。
もともとポジティブな性格だというマオさんは、「悩みを抱えていることに悩んで悪循環のスパイラルにはまってしまうのが一番もったいない。自分が少し変わるよう意識するだけで、周りがどんどん変わるし笑顔も増えてくる」と言います。
その意識の持ち方こそが、マオさんが本書で伝えたい「ポジティブの魔法」です。

福岡県出身。10月23日生まれ。2003年に結成されたロックバンド「シド」のヴォーカリスト。08 年メジャーデビュー。バンドとしてこれまで「モノクロのキス」「嘘」「V.I.P」などで映画・テレビアニメテーマ曲を担当。数多くのヒット曲を世に放ち、10年には東京ドーム公演を行うなど常に音楽シーンを牽引する存在に。「マオ from SID」としてソロでも活動している。
