メランコリック少女物語、爆ぜる少女が魅せる混沌、狂乱のドグマ その片鱗を見逃すな

ダウンチューニングによる重厚さと重量感を持ったラウドな音楽スタイルを軸に、轟音響かせるブラストビートで爆走すれば、ダウナーでミドルメロウな表情を折り込み、暗鬱な世界へ落とすなど、1曲の中で次々と転調してゆくドラマチックな楽曲構成。呪詛のように低音声で呟けば、ヒステリックな声を上げたり、グロウルを噛ますなど。歌詞に綴られた痛い感情に合わせ多種多彩な色を描きだす歌声。歌詞には、病み/闇要素を軸に据えたメンヘラ少女たちの心模様を描写。まるで、ヴィジュアル系バンドが如くの表現で、バンギャたちが共鳴してゆく混沌、狂乱の世界観を、メランコリック少女物語は『君に処す。』の中へ映し出した。今回解禁された彼女たちのヴィジュアルも、もはやアイドルというジャンルをゆうに飛び越えており90年代ヴィジュアルシーンそのもの。
以前から、アイドル界でもラウドな楽曲や、V系寄りの音楽スタイルを見せるグループは居た。メランコリック少女物語も、病み/闇な精神世界を好んで描いてきただけに、今回の『君に処す。』を通し、その面をさらに際立たせたところが彼女たちらしい。メラシスことメランコリック少女物語、どんどん黒く咎っていくメンヘラ少女たちだ。

メランコリック少女物語の世界観にどっぷり浸りたい方にお勧めなのが、1月15日に新宿FATEで行う「メランコリック少女物語 無料単独公演『御客様、万歳』」。この日のライブに触れ、彼女たちの描く、螺子のはずれた音楽世界を堪能していただきたい。
他にも、1月6日には新宿HEISTを舞台にした「主催公演」を開催。1月より、新宿FATEで定期公演『金曜日のノイローゼ』もスタートする。第一回目は1月20日。こちらにも、ぜひ足を運んでもらいたい。
