ルパン×HOTEI！布袋寅泰が実写映画メインテーマを完全書き下ろし!!

　TVアニメシリーズや劇場版などでも40年以上愛され続けてきた国民的キャラクター『ルパン三世』が、満を持してエンタメ実写大作として始動する。そして、これまで謎に包まれていた実写版『ルパン三世』のメインテーマがついに解禁！ 日本が誇るギタリスト、布袋寅泰の完全書き下ろしで、新たな『ルパン三世』テーマ「TRICK ATTACK-Theme of Lupin The Third-」が誕生した。

　本曲のミックスエンジニアには、『ダークナイト ライジング』（2012年）や『アメイジング スパイダーマン2』（2014年）のサントラでプロデュース、プログラミング、ミックスを務めたスティーヴ・リプソンを迎え、クエンティン・タランティーノ監督の『キル・ビル』（2003年）で、全世界に強烈な印象を叩き付けたサウンドを、映画『ルパン三世』でもまざまざと見せつけている。

　山本プロデューサー曰く、「最初は受けてくれるか躊躇したが、有難いことに相談してみるとあっさりOKを頂けた。映画の脚本とラフ映像を見て制作していただき、ロンドンでレコーディングされたデモ5曲の中から満場一致で今回のメインテーマが決まった」とのこと。過去、布袋個人としてメインテーマを書き下ろした作品は、『SF サムライ・フィクション』（1998年）、『新・仁義なき戦い。』（2000年）、『RED SHADOW 赤影』（2001年）、『KT』（2002年）などがある。

　布袋寅泰の完全書き下ろし「TRICK ATTACK-Theme of Lupin The Third-」が使用された映画予告編は、6月28日（土）より順次全国の劇場で流れ始めるとのこと。映画公式サイトでは6月25日（水）正午より公開。ぜひチェックを！

子供の頃からルパンを観て育った世代として、こうして音楽家として「ルパン三世」に関われるのは大変光栄であると同時に、大きなプレッシャーを背負うものだ。
しかしプレッシャーは活かせば力となる。
「新・仁義なき戦いのテーマ」を断っていたらタランティーノ監督との出会いはなかった。
バットマンやスパイダーマンを手掛けたスティーヴ・リプソン氏と共に大胆でスピード感溢れる極上のテーマ曲が仕上がった。

僕たちも一生懸命試行錯誤して作り上げた実写版のルパン三世に、布袋さんも一緒になって下さって新しいテーマ曲へのチャレンジはとても心強く、有難く。
そうしてできたこの楽曲は、これがニュールパン三世だ、と胸を張れる新しい息吹を作品に吹き込んでくれるテーマ曲となりました。
