あらかじめ決められた恋人たちへ 、LIVE DVD＋ミニアルバム発売＆対バンツアー開催決定

　あらかじめ決められた恋人たちへが9月10日にLIVE DVD+ミニアルバム『キオク』をリリースすることが決定。それに伴い、11月より対バンツアーの開催が決まった。

　2013年にリリースした5thアルバム『DOCUMENT』で、スケール感の大きなダブ～シューゲイズサウンドを提示した叙情派インスト・ダブ・ユニットあらかじめ決められた恋人たちへ。同作を全国7都市で開催されレコ発ツアー「DOCUMENT」でも、その喜怒哀楽すべてを さらけ出したエモーショナルなパフォーマンスで聴衆から喝采を浴びた。

　そんな彼らの2014年初のリリースとなる『キオク』は、ツアー「DOCUMENT」を中心に、以前から評価の高いライブ・パフォーマンスを余すところなく収録した120分のDVDと、新曲「Going」を含む4曲入りCDによる2枚組。DVDは、映画音楽等でも活躍するあら恋リーダー池永と、ライブシューティングチーム・naoeikkaによる共同監督作。ステージの迫力を最大限に活かしつつ、背景としてツアー移動中の風景や町並みをちりばめた、ロードムービー的演出が特徴となっている。アルバム『DOCUMENT』のコンセプトであった"旅立ち"に通づるその手法により、シネマティックを標榜とする"あら恋"ならではの魅力が生み出されている。

　また、特典映像には、吉野寿がゲスト参加した下北沢SHELTERでの「Fly」も収録されている。CDには、近年のダンス・ムーブメントにも通じるテクノ/ハウスの高揚感と、メランコリックなメロディを共存させた新境地「Going」に加え、名曲「Fly feeat.吉野寿」待望の初CD化、ボーカルにクガツハズカム（きのこ帝国・佐藤のソロ名義）を迎えたシネマティックDUBチューン「BY THIS RIVER」（ブライアン・イーノのカバー）など全4曲を収録。

　さらに、同作を携え各地に豪華ゲストを招いての対バンツアーが決定した。東京はキネマ倶楽部にて双方映像をフィーチャーした貴重なスペシャルライブが実現！ゲストには、world's end girlfriendと吉野 寿（from eastern youth）を迎えどんなステージを披露してくれるのか楽しみだ。ネクストステージと矛先を向け、確実に変化/進化しつつあ「あら恋」の"これまで"と"これから"を、映像と音源で心ゆくまで堪能できる作品をライブではどのように表現されるのか期待したい。

　今回の作品についてあらかじめ決められた恋人たちへの池永正二は「今回はキオクのリリースツアー、つまり「記憶の旅」です。記憶を巡り旅する事は空想に繋がり想像して創造していく原動力になり得ます。また「記憶」とは過去の事であり、結果が出た後の現象であり、オチから始まる映画のように何処をどうたぐり寄せ組み替えてみても終着はあらかじめ決められており、だから「記憶」とはなんだかとてもメランコリックな言葉で、その響きは「あらかじめ決められた恋人たちへ」でやろうとしている音楽にとても似ています。そして「記憶」とは思いを巡らすだけではなく、次に繋げてこその未来があるのだと思います。「CALLING」「今日」「DOCUMENT」と3 部作を作り終えた僕らは、ちょうどその未来への転換期に来ています。そして世の中はこの1,2年でいよいよ本格的に様変わりしているような雰囲気があります。だから僕らはダンスミュージックがしたい。僕は踊れないけど。歩みを止めず、良い方向へ、ステップを踏み続けて。Going。このツアーが皆さんの良い「記憶の旅」になる事を願いつつ。また東京では、かつて無声映画の上映会場として使われていたキネマ倶楽部で両バンドとも映像をフィーチャーしたライブになります。是非、観に来てください。 」とコメントを寄せている。
