シーナ＆ロケッツ、アルバムティザー映像公開＆タワレコとのスペシャルコラボ発表

　6年ぶりのオリジナルアルバム『ROKKET RIDE』のリリースを7月23日に控えたシーナ＆ロケッツが、収録曲「ROKKET RIDE」をフューチャーしたアルバムのティザー映像を公開した。

　同曲は“君をロケットで迎えにいき連れてってあげるよ"という英詞による究極のラブソングで、宇宙の愛のメッセージが込められている。ティザー映像には、笑顔であふれハッピーな雰囲気に包まれながらも、大胆かつ繊細に一発録音をしている、今作の象徴的なレコーディング風景で構成。“日本のロックレジェンド"と称されながらもまだまだ衰えを知らず、音楽に全身全霊、真摯に向かい合うバンドのリアルなカットが満載だ。

　また、1979年に日本進出を果たし、音楽カルチャーを発信し続け、シーン発展の大きなウエイトを担ったタワーレコードが、シーナ＆ロケッツと同じく35周年を迎え、スペシャルコラボレーションを発表した。

　シーナ＆ロケッツは、9月13日（土）に21年ぶりの日比谷野外音楽堂のワンマンライブを開催するが、翌日14日（日）にタワーレコードで展開されるキャンペーンのフォーカスとして、渋谷店B1F「CUTUP STUDIO」にてアフタートークパーティーの開催が決定。ニューアルバム『ROKKET RIDE』購入者に先着で入場予備券が配布され、パーティー当日の15:00から先着で入場券に引き換えることができる。全国のタワーレコードが対象なので、遠方からライブに訪れるファンも必見のイベントになるだろう。熱いライブが行なわれること間違いなしの野音と、その熱が冷めやらぬ間に、情熱あふれるトークが繰り広げられるアフタートークパーティー、是非とも連日、シーナ＆ロケッツのロックに酔いしれてもらいたい。

　くわえて、1993年にタワーレコード限定アナログ盤の7インチシングル「CATFISH」がリリースされたが、こちらも21年ぶりに、「太陽のバカンス/電撃BOP」の7インチシングルがタワーレコード限定で発売決定。A面にはニューアルバム『ROKKET RIDE』から「太陽のバカンス」、B面には「電撃BOP」が収録される。発売日は8月20日で、売り切れ必至なこの作品は、7月16日（水）より各店頭・オンラインショップにて予約受付を開始する。アナログサウンドでロケッツを感じたいファンには必須、売り切れ必至な初回生産限定アイテムだ。

　他にも、タワーレコードのオリジナル特典が決定。注目は、ニューアルバムだけでなく、同時発売になる鮎川誠のソロ作品BOX『AYUKAWA SIZE』購入者特典だ。同作の購入者には、CD『LONDON SESSION ALTERNATE TAKES / MAKOTO AYUKAWA with WILKO JOHNSON BAND』を先着でもれなくプレゼント。BOXに収録され、ウィルコジョンソンバンドとの熱いセッションを記録した『LONDON SESSION#1/#2』とは別テイク、門外不出の3曲「CATFISH」「Sittin' On My Sofa」「DoBuNeZuMi」を聴くことができる。ボードミックスながら、抜群のクオリティーで、OKテイクと甲乙付け難い激レア音源だ。音源前後に記録されている、鮎川誠とウィルコジョンソンバンドの会話が聴けるなど、臨場感抜群の特典も先着特典となっているので、お見逃しなく！
