布袋寅泰、ニューアルバム『New Beginnings』を10月1日にリリース

　布袋寅泰が待望のニューアルバム『New Beginnings』を10月1日（水）にリリースすることが発表された。

　世界を目指しロンドンで制作された『GUITARHYTHM』をリリースしてから25年、その当時以上の思いで制作されたHOTEIの意欲作『New Beginnings』はブライアン・イーノのコラボレーターであり、パオロ・ヌティーニ＆ワイルド・ビーストやカール・バラーのプロデューサーで知られるレオ・エイブラハムズ、ジェフ・ベックのアルバム『エモーション & コモーション』や映画『アメイジング・スパイダーマン2』、スーパーマン「マン・オブ・スティール」のサウンドトラックでプロデュースを務めたスティーヴ・リプソン、ポール・マッカートニーとのユニット「ザ・ファイアーマン」やザ・ヴァーヴの「Urban Hymns」、ピンク・フロイドの新アルバム『The Endless River』でもプロデュースを行なっているユース、そして、HOTEIの盟友でApollo 440のメンバー Nokoの総勢4人のプロデューサーを迎え制作を行なった。まさに“新たな始まり"と呼べる、布袋寅泰の重要なアルバムとなることは間違いない。

　また、アルバムリリース直後の10月17日 東松山市民文化センターを皮切りに11月30日 NHKホールまで全18公演のJAPAN TOURが行なわれる。メンバーはBASS：Tony Grey、DRUMS：Zachary Alford、PROGRAMMER：岸 利至で回ることも発表になった。海外フェス、アルバム制作を終えさらに進化した布袋寅泰が、革新的な演出とサウンドで表現する彼の代表曲や新曲を期待してほしい。

　さらに、8月27日の『HOTEI LIVE IN LONDON Electric Samurai ?Live at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire-』のBlu-ray/DVD発売に先駆け、布袋寅泰のインタビュー映像を交えたスペシャルティザー映像「STRANGERS 6 THEME」「MATERIALS」「BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY」が8月5日より3週にわたって公開されている。こちらも要チェックだ！
