go!go!vanillas、メジャー第1弾アルバム『Magic Number』詳細発表

go!go!vanillasが11月5日にリリースするメジャー1stアルバム『Magic Number』の収録楽曲とジャケット写真、最新アーティスト写真を公開した。

ビクターエンタテインメントのレーベル「Getting Better」からリリースされるアルバム『Magic Number』は、全11曲収録。その中には、8月20日のワンマンライヴでメジャー進出を発表した直後に初披露された疾走ギターチューン「マジック」など、音源未発表の最新ロックンロールナンバー8曲に加え、8月にタワーレコード限定でインディーズ発売され同店チャートTOP10入りを果たしたシングル曲「エマ」、今年2月に2,000枚限定でインディーズ発売され今は入手困難となっているシングル「オリエント / ホラーショー」の表題2曲も収録される。

とくに「オリエント」は、2月のリリース以来、バンドの急成長とともに数々の熱演を重ねてきた楽曲ゆえに、現在の彼らが秘めている起爆力をダイナミックに表現した最新レコーディングバージョンが収録されているという。

アルバム『Magic Number』には、日本語ロックンロールの新たな扉を開くであろう、まさに魔力に充ちた“マジック・ナンバー"が全11曲ずらり揃っているとのこと。本日公開されたジャケッ写真をよく見ると、収録曲のタイトルから連想されるイラストも見つけることができる。これらのイラストがアルバムに仕掛けられたマジックを読み解く鍵なのか、否か。リリース日を楽しみに待つことにしよう。

なお、アルバムは初回限定DVDつき商品もリリースされるが、このDVDの収録内容は後日発表されるとのことだ。

さらに、アルバムリリース間近となる10月には、東名阪で開催される話題のライヴイベント『MUSIC TAGS』に出演が決定、レーベルの先輩にあたるKEYTALK、キュウソネコカミとの豪華3マン公演が実現する。また、競演を控えた注目の3バンドが勢ぞろいする記念Ustream番組の放送も本日発表され、こちらも見逃せない内容となりそうだ。Ustream放送は明日5日（金）20:30からスタートする。
