READ ALOUD、新曲の先行配信＆クワタユウキ（Vo&Gu）新連載がスタート

READ ALOUDのクワタユウキ（Vo&Gu）が新旧数々のミステリ作品を独自の視点で紹介する連載コラムが雑誌『papyrus』にてスタート！　更に11月5日発売のミニアルバムから「君の声を思い出す」をiTunes先行配信＆予約受付開始となった。

『papyrus』は多彩な作家の連載小説や、俳優、お笑い芸人ら著名人のエッセイなどを中心に掲載しているリテラリー&カルチャー・マガジン。クワタユウキは幼少のころからかなりの読書好きで、数々のミステリ作品を新旧問わず幅広く愛読している読書家である。第1回となる今月号は「斜め屋敷よ万歳」というお題がつけられているが、このお題からも既に読書好きにはたまらない遊び心が注入されている。これまでに読破した数々のミステリ作品について、更にはこれから出版される新しい作品などを独自の視点で紹介していく。また、毎回連載ページに、クワタが自身で描くユーモア溢れる挿絵もお楽しみの一つとして注目だ。

また、同じく本日READ ALOUDが11月5日（水）にリリースする亀田誠治氏をプロデューサーに迎えた意欲作、ミニアルバム『アカンサス』から、「君の声を思い出す」を本日よりiTunesにて先行配信することが発表された。10月に入って、仙台、大阪、名古屋のサーキット系音楽イベントに立て続けに出演し、そのステージで披露されたこの楽曲「君の声を思い出す」は、広がりのある切ないメロディーに今は会えなくなってしまった友人への想いをストレートに綴った歌詞が、会場の観客の心をひとつにし、ファンの間でリリースが待ち望まれていた。

なお、クワタユウキがDJを務めているInterFMで、ジョージ・ウイリアムズがパーソナリティを務める「Ready Steady George!!」主催のライブイベント「Ready Steady George! presents InterFM FREE LIVE!」への出演が決定。共演には今年結成25周年となる、“the pillows"と“MONOBRIGHT"で11月10日（月）に渋谷のミルキーウェイで開催。150組300名のリスナー招待ライブとなり、プレミアムライブとなること間違いなしだ。応募は現在、InterFMのホームページにて10月31日（金）24時まで受け付けている。また12月7日（日）渋谷クラブクアトロで行われるREAD ALOUDのワンマンライブのチケットは10月26日（日）、一般発売となる。READ ALOUDの心に寄り添うライブを体感しに、是非会場に足を運んでみよう。

初対面のときにそれはすぐにわかりましたが、本気の文筆家でもあると確信したのは原稿をいただいたとき。
Papyrusのコンセプトは「物語を届ける」。
クワタユウキという人の魂を通過してきた物語の記憶とともに、クワタユウキという人自身の物語も見えてくる、そんな連載になると、手応えを感じました。
とごちゃごちゃ言いましたが、このエッセイ、読むとミステリをあれもこれも読みたくなるんですよ。いや、まじで。
