[Alexandros]、待望のニューアルバムより「Famous Day」先行配信スタート

［Alexandros］が6月17日にリリースする5枚目のアルバム『ALXD』より、4曲目に収録される「Famous Day」が本日5月20日（水）よりiTunes、レコチョクにて先行配信されることが決定した。また、あわせてミュージックビデオも公開される予定とのこと。

「Famous Day」に関して、作詞作曲をした川上洋平（Vo.＆G.）は「誰しもに訪れる大事な日。アルバム制作の最後の最後でこの曲が出来た時「あぁ今日こそがその日だな」と思いました。だから「Famous Day」というタイトルにしました。あなたにとっての大事な日を引っ張り込もうとするその際は是非聴いてみてください。きっと最高な日になるはずです。」とコメントしている。

ミュージックビデオは、最高の瞬間・自分の輝ける居場所（人生を照らす光）を求めて、彷徨いながら生まれてくる感情の起伏を表現するために、暗がりの倉庫の床に水を撒き演奏シーンが撮影され、揺らぎや不安定さを暗い無機質な倉庫でのバンド演奏で演出し、穏やかさや激しさを様々な表情を魅せる「水」にシンクロする「駆け抜ける光線」で表現したものになっている。撮影は「水」を床に撒いて撮影できる倉庫ということで、サバイバルゲームなどで使用されている特殊作戦群区（茨城県稲敷市）で約14時間かけて行なわれた。

同時に公開されたアルバム『ALXD』のジャケット写真はダイビング用のプールで撮影されたもので、色とりどりのフィルムでライティングされた水深約4ｍのプールに[Alexandros]のメンバーがそれぞれ衣装のまま飛び込み、その画像を重ねて作られおり、まるで近代アートのようなジャケット写真になっている。

そして、初回限定盤特典DVD内容の詳細も発表された。この特典DVDは昨年12月に東名阪で行なわれた自身のイベント「This Summer Festival 2014」の12月20日 Zepp Tokyoのライブ映像と、メンバー自身がライブ映像を見ながら裏話などを語った副音声に加え、今回のアルバムの収録曲全14曲についてレコーディングの状況から楽曲の内容を座談会方式で語った映像版セルフライナーノーツの3部で構成されており、全71分が収録されている。

また、この初回盤には、他にも様々な封入特典が予定されており、こちらは後日発表される予定だ。
