[Alexandros]、巨大化した庄村を巡るストーリーの「Dog 3」MVが公開へ

[Alexandros]が6月29日付オリコンウィークリーアルバムランキング3位を獲得したニューアルバム『ALXD』より、12曲目に収録されている「Dog 3」のMVを公開した。

この曲は[Champagne]時代の楽曲「Cat 2」の続編として制作されており、「Cat 2」はニートを比喩した楽曲となっているのに対し、「Dog 3」は会社勤めを始め社会に揉まれて生きていく心情が描かれた楽曲となっている。

MVは楽曲の内容に囚われない自由な発想で制作され、「些細なイザコザはあったとしても[Alexandros]はこれからも[Alexandros]であり続ける』」をテーマに、6月中旬に横浜の某ライヴハウスで約23時間かけて撮影された。[Alexandros]の売りでもあるライブヴシーンにはエキストラとしてファン200人が参加。[Alexandros]が演技に初挑戦し、壮大かつコミカルなサイエンスフィクションムービーに仕上がった。

世界同時中継のライヴ当日リハで上手くいかない庄村（Dr）を川上（Vo&Gt）が追い込む。磯部（B&Cho）はそんな二人の仲を取持ち本番へのモチベーションを高めるが、白井（G）は我関せずバナナを食べ続ける。
あるドリンクを飲んだ庄村が本番前に突然姿を消してしまい、バンドメンバーとお客さんが途方に暮れる中、外で大変な事が起こっていると云う一報が届く。なんと、怪獣のように巨大化した庄村が我を失い暴れまくっていた……。
メンバーが必死に呼びかけても返答も無く、会場もやがてパニックに陥る。巨大化した庄村は次第に悶えながら光り輝いて消えてしまうがパニックになった会場の観客は収まらず、白井が自身のメタルリフで会場のパニックを静める。
一方、消えてしまった庄村は、全身ブラックスーツを纏った異質な雰囲気の[AlexanDog3]という組織のアジトに連れ去られており、「ドラムになれ！」と力づくで洗脳されそうになるが、生中継されている[Alexandros]のメタルリフにより、目を覚まし必死にライヴ会場に戻るためのトランスポートボタンを押し、どうにかライヴ会場に戻ってくる。そしてドラムソロを完璧に叩き上げ会場は歓喜の渦に包まれる。無事ライヴは終了し、[Alexandros]の絆は深まり達成感に包まれるが、メンバーのお尻には猫のしっぽが……。
