[Alexandros]、日本武道館ワンマンに1万1千人が大興奮

[Alexandros]が約1年4ヶ月ぶりのワンマン公演『Premium V.I.P. Party』を7月17日に日本武道館で行った。

『Premium V.I.P. Party」はファン感謝祭的イベントで、WEBでファンからのリクエストを募り、[Champagne]時代の1stアルバムから順にセレクトしたセットリストになっている。

『Premium V.I.P. Party』というタイトルだけあって、今年はリムジンで武道館に登場！ 　レッドカーペットを上をメンバーが歩き武道館に入るという、頭から[Alexandros]らしい遊び心あふれる登場となった。

1曲目の「ワタリドリ」のイントロが鳴る否や、ファンからは溢れんばかりの歓声が上がり、立て続けに「For Freedom」「Yeah Yeah Yeah」「She's Very」「Rocknrolla!」と5曲ぶっ続けで演奏。川上洋平（Vo＆Gt）は「武道館なのにライブハウスみたいに熱いですね。体動かして、踊り狂っちゃって下さい！」と語り、他メンバーの磯部寛之（B）、白井眞輝（G）、庄村聡泰（Dr）もジャケットを着用してステージに立ち「楽しんでますか。改めまして[Alexandros]と申します」とあいさつすると、観客は大興奮。

昨年3月、自身初の武道館公演のアンコールで[Champagne]からの改名を発表しただけあり、2度目となる単独公演の武道館のステージで「去年は名前を変えなきゃいけなくて、半分は[Champagne]でした。今日は最初から最後まで[Alexandros]です」と語った。コンサートのタイトルにちなみ、「皆さんはV.I.P.です。最初から最後までごちそう楽しんで。おなかいっぱい、たらふく食べてください」（川上）ともてなした。

火を使った特効や銀テープが舞う中、1万1千人の観客は常に大興奮状態。ダブルアンコールまで突入し正統派な楽曲が続く中、ラストは最新アルバム『ALXD』に収録されている楽曲「Dog 3」の元ネタともなった「Cat 2」で締めくくり、[Alexandros]らしい、良い意味で裏切ってくれるライヴとなった。

ステージ上のバックスクリーンではエンドロールが流れ、10月9日の横浜BAYHALLから12月19日の千葉・幕張メッセ国際展示場まで全国15か所を回るツアーのスケジュールと、そして新たに、12月の香港と台湾公演が発表にされた。詳細は後日発表とのことだ。
