[Alexandros]、ニューシングルがドラマ『サイレーン　刑事×彼女×完全悪女』のオープニング曲に決定

[Alexandros]が12月2日（水）に9カ月ぶりとなる、シングル「Girl A」を発表！　また、同シングルの表題曲でもある「Girl A」が、10月20日（火）スタートの関西テレビ・フジテレビ系ドラマ『サイレーン　刑事×彼女×完全悪女』のオープニング曲に決定した。

ニューシングルはDVDが付属する初回盤と通常盤の2形態で、表題曲の「Girl A」の他に、カップリング曲と7月に日本武道館で行われた自身のライブ「Premium V.I.P Party」より「Leaving Grapefruits」のライブ音源の3曲が収録される予定。また、初回盤のDVDには今年6月に約1万人を集め話題となった代々木公園での野外ライブをドキュメントタッチで描いた「free live Back in Yoyogi Park!」が収録される。

更に先日レギュラー出演が発表されたTOKYO FM系全国ネット「SCHOOL OF LOCK」10月6日（火）の初回オンエアにて、「Girl A」がどこよりも先駆けてフルオンエアされることも決定した。

［Alexandros］は10月9日（金）より全国ツアー「ご馳走にありつかせて頂きます」をスタート。このツアーには台湾・香港での公演も含まれており、ツアーファイナルは幕張メッセ国際展示場で行われる予定。今後も勢いを増す［Alexandros］の活動から目が離せない。

「ドラマは刑事と謎の悪女との対決を先が気になるスリリングな展開で描いていきます。視聴者の方々に息もつかせず1時間を楽しんでもらうためにも、ドラマ冒頭から勢いをつけたいと思い、オープニング曲を [Alexandros]さんにお願いさせて頂きました。実際にメンバーの方々にお会いし、楽曲の相談をさせて頂きました。「Girl A」は1度聞いただけで記憶に残るフレーズ、心が躍るような疾走感、瞬間的にサイレーンに合うと確信しました。「Girl A」で勢いと躍動感を吹き込まれたサイレーンを早く視聴者の方々にお届けしたいと思います」

ーーメロディー＆アレンジについて。
「今回のお話を頂いた時に他にいくつか既存の曲で候補がありました。しかし原作を読んで台本も読んだ後に「これはもっとズッシリと轟くような重低音とヒンヤリした刺激的なビートが必要なんじゃないか？」と思いバンドにとっても新しいアプローチの曲制作に取り掛かりました」
ーー歌詞について。
「主人公達に襲いかかる謎めいた女の思惑は最後までわかりません。だからこそ考えさせられました。もし僕が彼女だったらとしたら？ 　制作中、ふいに視界に入った綺麗な朝焼け空、彼女の目にはどう映るのだろう？ という事を考えながら言葉を綴りました。そして全てが合わさった時、「強烈な」曲が出来上がりました。この刺激を味わって欲しいです。 是非お楽しみください」
