奥田民生、地元・広島にて3度目の「ひとり股旅スペシャル」を開催

奥田民生が11月28日（土）にMAZDA Zoom-Zoom スタジアム広島にて、「奥田民生 ひとり股旅スペシャル@マツダスタジアム」を約3万人の観衆を集めて行った。奥田民生が地元でこの弾き語りライブシリーズ「ひとり股旅スペシャル」を行うのは、2004年10月の旧広島市民球場、2011年10月の厳島神社に続いて今回が三度目となる。

ライブは1回表（前半）と1回裏（後半）に分けて行われ、間に30分のインターバルが設けられた。1回表、ウグイス嬢のアナウンスでバックスクリーンから奥田民生が登場、アンパイアによる「プレイボール！」のコールでファーストアルバムの1曲目である「674」からスタート。「野ばら」や「遺言」といったソロ奥田民生のほか、「ユニコーンの曲で」という条件でウグイス嬢にリクエストを要請して歌われた「デーゲーム」と「雪が降る町」や、今年5月に広島文化学園HBGホールでユニコーンで50歳記念ライブ「もみじまんごじゅう」を行うにあたって発表した「私はオジさんになった」などののち、現在マツダのCMで流れている“風は西から”の英語バージョンに挑戦して1回表をしめくくる。

30分のインターバルののち、奥田民生とSMA所属アーティストたちが「それ行けカープ」を歌いつないでいく映像のラストで、スタンドのオーディエンスが盛大に風船を飛ばす。続く始球式では、なんとキャッチャーで広島東洋カープの大瀬良大地投手、ピッチャーで前田健太投手が登場し、バッターボックスに立つ奥田対決。24日にメジャー行きの意志をあきらかにしたマエケン、カープのユニフォームでマウンドに立つのはこれが最後の可能性もあり、登場のアナウンスでスタンドは大騒ぎになった。

そして「SUNのSON」でスタートした1回裏（後半）は、中盤から「やっぱ人の曲もやらないと。人の力を借りて、盛り上げていきたいと思います」とカバー曲のコーナーへ。西野カナという意外な選曲で始まり、吉田拓郎・矢沢永吉・フライングキッズ、真心ブラザーズと、これまでも歌ってきた曲たちのほか、ケツメイシ「さくら」やTHEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT「世界の終わり」といった新しいレパートリーもくり出し、スタンドをわかせる。続いて、今年の夏にファーストアルバムをリリースしツアーを行った、くるり岸田繁・ドラマー伊藤大地とのバンド、サンフジンズの曲も2曲披露。後半のMCで「もう僕は、こんな大きなことは、しません。これを期に、普通の人に戻ります」「まあ、普通に音楽活動をやっていきたいと思います。こんなお祭りみたいに……だんだん恥ずかしくなってきたんで」とMC。感謝の言葉のあと、“CUSTOM”を経て、どさくさまぎれに「行ってしまうのかマエケン！ 早く帰ってきてね！」とメッセージを送り、“さすらい”で本編をしめくくった。

アンコールを求めるウェーブがスタンドを何周もしたあと、おなじみの背番号082のユニフォームに着替えて登場。“最強のこれから”と“風は西から”の通常バージョンを歌い終え、フラッグを抱えたスタッフを連れて、スタンドにサインボールを投げ込みながらグラウンドを一周。奥田民生が深々とお辞儀をし、1塁側ダグアウトに去ったあとも、スタンドからの拍手はいつまでも続いた。

奥田民生、2015年の残る活動としては、ソロデビューから現在まで奥田民生バンドのキーボーディストを務める斎藤有太が発案し、多数のゲストを迎えて12月22日（火）に東京国際フォーラムで行われる「奥田民生 生誕50週年伝説 “となりのベートーベン”」が控えている。そのほか、12月3日（木）金沢、4日（金）福井で行われる浜崎貴司のアコースティックイベント「出前GACHI」への参加、そして年の瀬にはサンフジンズで12月27日（日）インテックス大阪「RADIO CRAZY」と28日幕張メッセ「COUNTDOWN JAPAN 15/16」に出演。年明け1月13日には広島クラブクアトロにて、「サンフジンズ 新春オペ」（ワンマンライブ）を行うことと、1月23日に福岡サンパレスホテル＆ホールのイベント「BIG BEAT CARNIVAL “Rockin’ Blues Parade”」に出演することも発表されている。
