10-FEET、約5年ぶりのニューシングル「アンテナラスト」リリース決定

10-FEETが「その向こうへ」以来実に約5年ぶりとなるニュー・シングルを7月20日にリリースすることを発表した。

10-FEETは、近年は“フェスの王様”とも称されるほど、各地で行われるロック・フェスティバルには欠かせない存在となっており、昨年は夏の『ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL』4日間の大トリと冬の『CONTDOWN JAPAN FESTIVAL』でのカウントダウンを、同フェスの歴史上初めて同一年で務めるという快挙を成し遂げた。

また、『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL』では日の出を迎えるトリを務め、『FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL』ではグリーン・ステージのトップバッターを務めるなど、何かと重要な局面を任されることが多いバンドである。

一方で、シングルは2011年の「その向こうへ」、アルバムでは2012年の『thread』以来、新曲を約4年間もリリースしていない。それにもかかわらずフェスでは盤石の盛り上がりを毎回生み出し、関係者も“曲がどうこうだけでは語れない、もはや不思議な次元へと到達したバンド”と一様に口を揃える。

そういった意味では、10-FEETは、ROCKファンはもちろんのこと、関係者からも“もっとも新曲の完成が待たれていたバンド”とも言えるだろう。この約4年間の沈黙を経て、いったいどのような新曲が産み出されるのか、本当に興味深い。

なお、シングルには3形態が用意されており、3曲入りCDのみの通常盤のほか、2014年と2015年の『京都大作戦の』模様をダイジェストで収めたDVDが付属する初回盤B（初回生産限定盤）と、さらに“10-FEETレジャーシート（舞妓バージョン）”なるスペシャル・グッズが付属する初回盤A（完全生産限定盤）が販売される。『京都大作戦』のアイコンである舞妓が登場するレジャーシートはファン垂涎のデザインに仕上がった。

さらに、このニュー・シングル発売の発表に合わせて、10-FEET LINE公式アカウントも本日立ち上がっており、今後の最新情報はそこを起点として発信されていくようだ。
