CANDY GO!GO!、8月リリースのメジャー第2弾シングル『endroll』、 赤坂BLITZの主催ライブで初披露!!

今年、1月に両A面シングル『overdrive/大切なお知らせ』を発売し、メジャーデビューを飾ったCANDY GO!GO!。同シングルの売上が5桁を超えたことから、年内にアルバムを出すことも決定している。そのアルバムへ先駆けるよう、今年の夏を大いに盛り上げようと、メジャー第2弾シングル『endroll』を8月17日(水)に発売することが決定した。作詞を、メンバーのなぎさりんが担当。歌詞には「何処に行っても、どんな時も、みんなの気持ちは何時も一つ。お互いの絆は固いぞ」という、応援してくれる人たちに対する想いが込められている。その『endroll』の初お披露目を、5月24日にCANDY GO!GO!の主催イベント「NEXT-ONE!! In BLITZ」で行った。

　この日、CANDY GO!GO!はトップとトリの2ステージを実施。一発目のライブは、『そしてまた逢えると云うよ』からスタート。最初から彼女たちは気持ちをトップギアに入れてきた。7人は舞台を目一杯駆使しダイナミックなパフォーマンスを見せてゆく。魂を熱く躍動させる『こころのうた』。挑発的な姿勢のもと、観客たちへ挑むように歌った『そこに二度寝しよう』。最後は、心地好く疾走したビートの上で滾るパッションをぶつけた『おとなの事情』。 彼女たち自身の気持ちをダイレクトに投影した、真っ直ぐでポジティブな楽曲を並べた最初のステージ。7人の歌声が凛々しく勇壮に胸へ届くのも、彼女たち自身が歌の数々を自分たちが夢へ突き進むうえでの憲章にしているからだ。何時しか見ているほうも、気持ち滾る想いに包まれていた。

　トリとして、ふたたび舞台へ姿を現したCANDY GO!GO!。「赤坂BLITZ一つになろうか」、『神様のイジ悪』からライブはスタート。凛々しい歌声を場内へ響かせながら、7人は「声を聞かせてよ」と観客たちを煽り出した。ステージを目一杯使ったダイナミックなステージングが、鮮烈に瞼に焼きついてゆく。勢いをさらに広げようと、CANDY GO!GO!はメジャー第一弾シングル『overdrive』をぶつけてきた。躍動する演奏と疾走する歌声に煽られ、観客たちも身体を揺らし、舞台上へ絶叫を返してゆく。いい感じでぶっ壊れ始めた?!。でも、それをみんなが求めていた。それが気持ちいいことだと知っているから…。
菜月アイルと関根ゆみの挑発的なリードのもと、『Imishin』を通し、観客たちをパフワルに炸裂したロックワールドへと導いてゆく。なんてエナジー漲る熱い煽りなんだ。熱した感情へ優しく寄り添うように流れたのが、『たまにはビールを飲ませてよ』。だが、佐伯かなの「いくぞー!!」の声を合図に、歌は爆発。緩急効かせながら、観客たちの感情に彼女たちは熱を与え続けてゆく。終盤には、「オーオーオー」の合唱もおきていた。
　「どこにいても、どんなときも、私たちはずっと一緒です」。なぎさりんの言葉に続いて流れたのが、8月17日に発売となる2ndシングルの『endroll』だ。哀愁味を持ったメロディーも含ませた、パワフルなビートロックナンバーだ。『endroll』に触れていると情熱が沸き上がってゆく。力強い7人の歌声に滾る想いを感じながら、誰もが舞台上の7人に魂のエールを送っていた。歌に心と身体が熱く昂揚してゆく。魂を震わせる歌って、それなんだよ。噛みしめるごとに気持ちへ熱と勇気を抱かせる歌に『endroll』はなりそうだ。
「2枚目からが本当の勝負だと思っています」と、なぎさりんの力強い宣言に続き、最後に彼女たちは『Weare!!!!!!!!』をぶつけてきた。「この場所から輝き続けてるよ」。その言葉は、仲間たちとの確かな約束のように。
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
この夏CANDY GO!GO!は、8月17日(水)に発売する2ndシングル『endroll』を手に、世の中を熱く掻き回してゆく。きっと、そうなるだろう。なにせ、世界のなぎさりんがお墨付きを与えてくれた楽曲なんだもの。
