BRADIO、ツアーファイナルの赤坂BLITZでFPPの笑顔が大爆発

BRADIOが6月10日の新潟公演を皮切りに全国7都市を回った、ツアー『ファンカジスタツアー2016〜レインボービッグバン編〜』の最終公演を7月17日に赤坂BLITZにて開催した。

ツアーファイナルであるこの日のライブは、彼らとオーディエンスであるFunky Party People（FPP）との、まさにFunky Party Stage。暗転すると、待っていました！と言わんばかりに盛大な拍手＆コールでメンバーを迎え入れるFPP。そんな客席を真行寺貴秋（Vo）が煽り、ライブの指揮をとるようにして「FUNKASISTA」で幕を開ける。続けて、「Abracadabra」、「感情リテラシー」と3曲を軽快なビートで歌い上げ、会場もノリノリに。

するとここで、白いクマの赤坂ブリオという名の神！？がボーカルトップからゆっくりと降臨し、観客に挨拶すると、くるくると回りながらメンバーとのミニ茶番（笑）を披露した。他にはないようなユーモアな仕掛けをつくれるのも彼らの醍醐味だろう。また、「Golden Liar」では、真行寺がステージから降りてFPPに溶け込み、同じ空間を共にする姿が印象的だった。

そして、ライブ終盤には、優しいタッチのピアノソロから始まる「ギフト」が贈られる。大切な人への感謝をストレートに表現したこの歌と、ステージの優しい明かりがマッチし、心に柔らかな光りを灯してくれる。なんて温かい空間だろう。ここまでのダンサブルナンバーとは打って変わった流れに観客全員が魅了されていた。

ラスト2曲にさしかかると、ここでタイトルの“レインボービッグバン”について触れる。“RAINBOW=みんなの笑顔、BIGBANG=大爆発”という意味で、真行寺は“みんなのRAINBOW を爆発させてくれるか〜！”と問いかけると、FPPは“ワァー”！と歓声混じりの返事を返した。そして、“レインボー！ビッグバン！”のコール＆レスポンスでボルテージを一気に上げ、「Flyers」へ突入。会場のテンションは最高潮となり、灼熱のダンスホールと化した。そのままの勢いで「スパイシーマドンナ」へたたみ掛けると、この時にはもう、彼らとFPP のグルーヴが1つになっていた。

アンコールでは、T シャツに着替えた彼らが爽やかな表情で登場。「Bring It On!」を歌い終えると、真行寺が2年前の2nd ミニアルバム『Swipe Times』について語り始める。“この時のミニアルバムをリリースするにあたり、新しいスタートがきれたなと。実は2年前から赤坂BLITZ の名前があがってたんです。だから、今自分たちが立っている、この場所はみなさんのおかげです。本当にありがとう！”と、愛と感謝を丁寧に語った。ラストはこの日一番のシンガログを会場中に響かせた「Ride On Time」。最後は恒例のアフロジャンプをして、今回のツアーを締めくくった。

エンターテイメントの中に愛がこもっている彼らのライブ。年末に開催される次のワンマンでは、どんな愛あるショーが繰り広げられるのだろうか。更なる期待がもてそうだ。
