【NINJAMAN JAPAN】1月15日にミニアルバム『翔-Show』発売

　ヴィジュアル系戦隊バンドNINJAMAN JAPANのミニアルバム『翔-Show』が、来週1月15日にリリースされる。

　現在、テレビ朝日系列で放映中の「仮面ライダー鎧武」に、凰蓮・ピエール・アルフォンゾ / 仮面ライダーブラーボ役として出演し、強烈な個性を発揮している吉田メタル（劇団☆新感線）は、ヴィジュアル系戦隊バンドNINJAMAN JAPANのリーダー＆ベーシストでもある。

　NINJAMAN JAPANは、Metal（吉田メタル/B）がスーパー・コスプレ・バンドとして人気のあったPsycho le CemuのLida（G）と、アイドル系ヴィジュアルバンドTINCで活躍していたSarino（Vo）と、「夢は世界ツアー！」を目標に結成したバンド。「忍者」をコンセプトに、ワンマンでは毎回演劇界注目の新星脚本家によるオリジナルの芝居、プロの殺陣師を相手にした本格的なアクションを取り入れ、音楽だけではない総合エンターテイメントを目標にして、活動をしている。

　一昨年はロンドンのHYPER JAPAN、昨年はパリのJAPAN EXPOに出演して、海外での人気も急上昇。昨年、20歳の新ドラマーDeweyが加入してからは活動にもより勢いがつき、O-EASTや赤坂BLITZで開催されるイベントにも出演と、国内外からの注目度が加速度的に高まっているバンドだ。

　そんな彼らが、ニュー・ミニ・アルバム『翔-Show-』を2014年1月15日にリリースする。基本はメタル系の激しい音楽を得意とする彼らだが、メロディラインはどの曲も非常にポップで覚えやすい。バンドのコンセプトから、今まであえて避けてきたバラードも、本作には初めて収録。そして、そのバラード曲「Long walk」には、Janne Da Arcのキーボーディストkiyoがピアノとシンセで参加し、壮大な世界観を重厚に表現している。さらに、L'Arc～en～CielやNICO Touches the Walls等、多くの人気バンドを手がける人気プロデューサー岡野ハジメがスーパーバイザーとしてレコーディングに参加し、サウンドのクオリティを高めている。

　収録曲は、メイン・コンポーザーであるLida（G）作曲のアルバム・リード曲「風の彼方へ」、バラード「Long walk」、ポップで覚えやすい「GLARE」、Daishi（G）作曲のライヴで盛り上がる「碧い鳥」、Metal（B）が初の作詞に挑戦した「友愛の鐘」、Sarino（Vo）作曲のさわやかな「百花乱舞」と、バラエティに富んだ全6曲。「風の彼方へ」のミュージック・ビデオは、スーパースローカメラを使ったアクションを取り入れた作品で、Youtubeにフル・バージョンを公開中。全曲を試聴してもらいたいというメンバーの想いから、アルバムのトレーラーも公開中である。

　アルバム・リリース後には、2014年初のワンマンライヴを2月11日に控えている。今年も加速度をつけて走り続けるNINJAMAN JAPANに、要注目である。
