GOODWARP、モデル“くるみ”が“ガチ”なうどん作りに挑戦した「Sweet Darwin」MVを公開

GOODWARPが11月16日にリリースする両A面EPの表題曲「Sweet Darwin」の一味変わったミュージックビデオと“うどん盤”アートワーク、さらに購入者特典の絵柄を公開！　また、東京・大阪・香川でリリースインストアイベントを開催することも発表した。

バンド初のバラード楽曲「Sweet Darwin」は、日本テレビほかにて現在放送中のアニメ『うどんの国の金色毛鞠』エンディング主題歌として書き下ろされた楽曲。自分の心の一番奥にある気持ちに立ち返るきっかけになって欲しいという願いが込められた、ノスタルジックな心温まるバラードとなっている。このたび解禁となったミュージックビデオでは、透明感溢れる気鋭のモデル“くるみ”が出演し、一見リリックMVと思いきや、美しくも“ガチ”なうどん作りに挑戦している。撮影当日は実際にフードコーディネーターも入りつつ本格的な撮影が行われたとのことだ。ディレクションはTHE BAWDIESやgo!go!vanillas、cinema staffなど多くのアーティストのMVを手がける多田卓也がつとめ、バンドのこれまでのビデオクリップに共通する“ユニークさ”のエッセンスが効いた、一風変った仕上がりとなっている。今回はショートサイズということで、後味が気になるところ。いずれも空腹時の閲覧には要注意だ。さっそくご覧いただきたい。

さらに、アニメオリジナル描き下ろしイラストの「うどん盤」ジャケットアートワーク、および店舗別予約・購入者特典の絵柄も公開された。穏やかな夜に、寄り添う二人のキャラクターが印象的だ。なんとアートワークは裏面にも続きが…こちらもお楽しみに！ 　タワーレコードのオリジナル特典には、松田“CHABE”岳二＆TGMXがリミックス参加した「僕とどうぞ」のRemixCDがプレゼントされる。そして同特典のアートワークで、Vo.吉崎自らがデザインを手がけていることも発表された。そのほか一部アニメチェーンでは、アニメのエンディング絵コンテを手がける坂本一也氏デザインの絵コンテ冊子が先着でプレゼントされる。これはかなり貴重なアイテムになりそうだ。また、その他全国のCDショップでは、うどん盤・通常盤のアートワークがセットになったダブルジャケットステッカーがプレゼントされるなど、豪華な内容となっている。ぜひ、早めの予約をおすすめしたい。なお、新作EPには松田岳二とTGMXの二人が手掛ける「bravo！bravo！bravo！」のリミックストラックも収録され、ミュージシャンとしての経歴もさることながら、プロデュサーとしても活躍する多くのミュージシャンからの信頼の厚い二人が手掛けたリミックスに注目が集まっている。

さらに、リリースを記念したインストアイベントが東京・大阪・アニメ原作の舞台である香川で開催されることが発表された。イベントタイトルはその名も「ダーウィンのシンガロン」。11月19日（土）タワーレコード新宿店、12月14日（水）タワーレコード梅田NU茶屋町店、そして12月17日（土） タワーレコード高松丸亀町店 丸亀町グリーン けやき広場にて開催される。東京でのインストアイベントは初となるとのこと。対象店舗やイベント詳細はHPをチェック！
