布袋寅泰、ソロデビュー再現GIGSを完全収録した映像作品のダイジェスト公開

布袋寅泰が11月2日に発売する、2016年4月7日（木）国立代々木競技場第一体育館にて行われた『【BEAT 2】GUITARHYTHM伝説 ‛88 ～ソロデビュー再現GIGS』を完全収録した待望の映像作品『GUITARHYTHM LIVE 2016』のダイジェストをYouTubeにて公開した。

「当時の再現を超えた『GUITARHYTHM』の完全化を目指す」とMCで語ったように、タイトなバンドサウンドと鮮烈なライティングが見事に融合し、スケール感溢れるパフォーマンスを展開した同公演。GUITARHYTHMの象徴とも言えるプロローグ映像「LEGEND OF FUTURE」から始まり、1988年の以来、初のパフォーマンスとなりリアレンジされた「POWER」、さらに「C'MON EVERYBODY」、と圧巻のオープニングは勿論、異次元へ誘うようなプロダクションが印象的な「STRANGE VOICE」、「WIND BLOWS INSIDE OF EYES」、本編ラスト曲「A DAY IN AUTUMN」まで、見応え十分な映像だ。

2016年末には、自身のオール・キャリアから35曲をプレイするスペシャル・ライブ『【BEAT 8】Climax Emotions ～35 Songs from 1981-2016～』も発表した布袋寅泰。35周年アニバーサリーイヤーの“クライマックス”に向けて加速してく！
