Water Screen

driving through the city
in the early morning
open my eyes
still feel like dreaming
rain on wind screen

staring at the river
from the bridge in a haze
open the window
put my arm out
rain on my skin

never going back
It is fading out

hearing the sound
reverberating across the sky
shortly seep into the ground
