サイダーガール、7月にシングル「エバーグリーン」でメジャーデビュー

哀愁あるメロディと変幻自在の“炭酸系”サウンドが話題のロックバンド・サイダーガールが4月22日、渋谷CLUB QUATTROにて行われた自主企画イベント『CIDER LABO Vol4』にて、ユニバーサルミュージックよりシングル「エバーグリーン」でメジャーデビューすることを発表した。

インターネットを含むメディアでは一切顔を出さず、ライブ会場でのみ本人たちの姿を目撃できるということと、“炭酸系”サウンドが相まって話題となり、2016年の夏は続々と大型フェスやイベントへ出演。秋には2ヶ月連続でミニアルバム『ジオラマインサイダー』、『ジオラマアウトサイダー』をリリースし、全国に「サイダガ」旋風をおこしてきたサイダーガールが、初ライブからちょうど3年経った2017年7月26日、いよいよメジャーデビューを果たす。

また同時に、これまでサイダーガールのイメージキャラクターとして4本のミュージックビデオに出演していたモデルるうこから、2017年度新イメージキャラクターとして池間夏海を起用することが発表された。これから1年間、ミュージックビデオを中心に登場する美少女・サイダーガールにもぜひご注目いただきたい。
