Plastic Tree、有村竜太朗が雨に濡れる新MV「雨中遊泳」＆アー写・JK写公開

Plastic Treeが、メジャーデビュー20周年のアニバーサリーイヤー第2弾として6月21日に発売するニューシングル「雨中遊泳」。そのMVが公開された。

「雨中遊泳」はバンドの原風景のひとつと言えるシューゲイザー的サウンドアプローチが、有村竜太朗（Vo）の文学的な歌詞と相まってバンドの世界観を体現した幻想的な楽曲。

Plastic Tree雨ソングの決定版ともいえる楽曲に仕上がっている中、MVのテーマももちろん「雨」。雨に濡れて艶やかな有村が印象的で、黒の世界が広がる水面にメンバーがゆらゆらと揺らぐ幻想的な世界観。タイトル通り、雨の中をたゆたうような映像になっている。

併せて、今作のアーティスト写真とジャケット写真も公開となった。タイトルの文字をデザインに落とし込んだ全4種のジャケット写真には、傘をさしたメンバーがそれぞれのジャケットに隠れている。

MV、アーティスト写真やフォトブックレット等を手掛けたのは前作に引き続き、世界的な写真家・宮澤正明。初回限定盤には「雨中遊泳」のMVを収録、そして初回限定盤BとCはそれぞれ内容の違う豪華撮り下ろしフォトブックレットが付属する。また、タワーレコード限定での予約特典として「オリジナル特大B1ポスター」がもらえるキャンペーンは5月24日（水）が締切。新たにメンバーの写真を使用したアナザージャケットがもらえる先着購入特典や、4種購入応募の抽選プレゼントキャンペーンが発表となっているので、こちらもぜひチェックしてみよう。
