Goodbye holiday、2ndアルバムリリース＆『ぐっほり感謝祭』開催決定

Goodbye holidayが、7月19日に自身2枚目となるフルアルバム『A LA QUARTET』をリリースすることを発表した。

また、発売を記念してインストアライヴも開催されるほか、毎年恒例のファンへの日頃の感謝を込めたスペシャルライヴ『ぐっほり感謝祭』の開催も決定した。

季節感を意識した訳じゃないけれど（まあ、ちょっとは意識したけどね）全体的に夏を感じるアルバムになったなと思います。清々しい朝にはこの曲。一人落ち込んで帰る夕暮れにはこの曲。気の合う仲間との真夜中のドライブにはこの曲。何年経っても夏が来れば聞きたくなる。そんな、あなたの人生の一枚になりますように。

■大森皓（Gt）
2枚目のフルアルバムが完成しました。今回ほぼセルフプロデュースです。
このアルバムをキッカケにたくさんの人がGoodbye holidayを知る事になればいいなと思いながら作りました。よろしくお願いします。

■福山匠（Ba）
「ぐっほりらしさは何？」と訊かれて、答えに困ることがよくありました。本当に色んなタイプの曲があるからです。メジャー2枚目のフルアルバム、バンドの今後が最も見えてくる時期。曲が求めている言葉を何度も反芻して、時には想いの強さに涙しながら作りました。カラーの違う14曲、どれも命懸けの真剣勝負で歌を届ける。これが僕たちらしさだと思います。色んな聴き方をしてみて下さい。

2枚目のフルアルバムということで、今まで作ってきた作品で得たものをフル動員で作りました。
売れろ売れろ売れろ！と願いながらレコーディングで叩いたドラム、売れろ！
アルバムタイトルにカルテットとあるように4人だけで作った曲たちだけど決して4人じゃ作れなかったアルバムです！
お客さんがいてノービッグのみんながいてベックスのみんながいて音を作って録ってくれて聴けるようにしてくれる人たちがいて完成したアラカルテット！（綴りはわかりまてん）
